Please do not make numerous threads on the boards stating the same thing.

If the mods see these type of threads over and over they will be deleted. We want to put the serious problems in one thread so hopefully they can be dealt with.

Played 20 online games last night. I was only able to finish 12 of them doe to game freezing or connection beig lost. I seems everone is having this problem

TRIED to play 5 games earlier today, Couldn't get into a single one, XBOX live crashed each time. (I can play other games on XBL)

Experienced several lock-ups forcing an Xbox reboot during online play both as host and as client.

I've had lots of lock ups.

It locks up frequently when joining servers and hosting servers both normal and dedicated servers.

My online games via XBOX crash almost every time.

I just bought America's Army - Rise of a Soldier, for the XBOX, and it freezes VERY often. In one instance, if I press the Y button during the first obstacle course training (the very first mission), it hangs completely. Other crashes don't seem to follow a pattern, other than that they occur mostly during mission loading. The system just stops and the XBOX needs to be rebooted. This happens at least every couple of hours.
Over the years I came to trust the quality of UBISOFT games, and this has proven to be a big disappointment. The game is great, but very unstable. I have talked to other Xbox LIVE users and they sem to be experiencing the same crashes.
Should we expect a patch anytime soon?

After a few more hours of playing yesterday I think I've noticed when it is most likely to crash.

When hosting a server it appears to crash most often when the game is in progress and someone joins. Often this is when the 8th person joins, but not always.

I have also had trouble with the lag in the deticated servers, i can hold full non deticated servers in every other game with out lag but in this one it lags even though it is deticated!

Sometimes when dead, I see an enemy dead soldier who is moving around, he can't shoot or do anything, but he is still moving. Also while playing the Bridge map I died and while laying there waiting for someone to heal me, I pressed the movement joystick thingy and I started to move. An enemy soldier started to shoot at me, he couldn't hurt me, and I couldn't do anything in return...Has anyone else seen this happen???

Sorry to say but the severes for this game completely suck. Me and my boy couldnt even finish playin 2 out of the 10 to 14 games we tried to get in. The single player campaign is also full of bugs and the sound is just unrealistic. Cmon how hard could it be to make the weapons have their authentic sounds.

My experience is almost all online, which is what these have to do with.

1-The lock up has been discussed

2-When you are prone, crawling through a doorway, for example, you can get hopelessly hung up and can't move forward or back unless you stand back up. Not the best thing to have to do. Try turning and he just acts like a bug stuck on a pin in a bug collection.

3-On observe, you can be observing from an injured players perspetive. Someone comes over to heal them, and you see what looks like a dead body sliding around on the ground instead of a revived soldier. The gun is still laying across his legs and shoots ghost-like at the enemy. I actually don't want this patched, since it's friggin trippy to watch.

That's it! Unless you could add more ranks and make them slower/harder to obtain. Like Lockdown, you move up a little too fast.

Two times I've been unable to reload and I spoke to one other person where this happened. Someone mentioned it was built into the game, for example if your under a lot of fire you can't reload but it happened to me well after a firefight. I press X and the reload animation starts but then stops. I keep pressing X and the reload animation never finishes and I can't reload.

FYI - If the game freezes on the menu after a server closes and you get kicked out to the menu, just unplug the controller and plug it back in and your back up. Not sure if this has been posted but it works.

When hosting a game I found that it will freeze completely after the second round for all players which forces me to restart my XBOX and lose everyone. I do not know why this is happening since I run a T1 line from home.
I also noticed that sometimes I am unable to choose my side/loadout, it just shows me as unassigned even though there are multiple loadouts available to choose from. I know the above has happened to quite a few players as well so it's not just me

Forgot to mention this:

Sometimes when at the first team selection screen, "assault" or "defense" etc, a player will chose one side or the other but will not be taken to the next screen to chose their assault team and position. They usually do end up on the side they chose, but they do not show on the player count to have balanced teams, and they can't chose their role. They have to sit there unassigned--but NOT showing on the unassigned list--until launch.

well i dont got x box but when this game comes out for ps2 i hope they fix all hem bugs. and x box sucks i think. u gota pay for xbl, ps2 is free

The on thing I noticed is after a round at the statistc screen it say the points and then 2 skill but when I go to my personal jacket I have no skill points to assign.

Are you maxed out maybe? If so, those go into redistribution points instead.

If you've reached the maximum skill points (480 I believe) the skill points you get are assigned to redistribution points.

I hear tails of peeps maxing three or more skills, and/or, just unusually high multiple skills. is this some kind of bug? or are these peeps just full of smelly-brown stuff?
