This is not an argument thread. Stay out if you intend to argue off-topic.
Well. This is where it all came from. The is one room in slaughterhouse (DA Spy V Merc) which is up the two ladders from the spies spawn. Now, for some reason that room always makes me sad that we may not see a next-gen instalment of true Spy V Merc. I was thinking, IF a new SC Spy V Merc was made for PS3, Xbox 360 and computer ONLY and it was based off of CT which things would you like to see? Explain what you thought was missing, why you want it ect. We don't just want a big list. Also include things you liked in Double Agent. I will remind you again: This is not an argument thread. Stay out if you intend to argue off-topic. You can disagree with what people want. I just don't want any of that "Don't judge Conviction" **** in here. I myself actualy would have liked it to be more like PT rather than CT, I just seem to like PT more

I like pretty much everything about CT. The only things I didnt like were that the spies often wouldnt grab ledges and such that you were aiming for and the merc charge suffered from some weird hit detection issues. Sometimes they would charge you and miss by a few feet but still knock the piss out of you. Other times you would charge a spy and hit him dead on and just bounce off like he was made of brick.
I love the graphics in DA and how nimble the spies are. If they could make CT with the DA graphics and spy agility then i would be a happy camper. One other thing I miss that isnt a big deal to most people is the choke out. In CT if you held the merc for 10 seconds you would choke him to death. In DA it automatically breaks his neck. I found it much more satisfying to choke people out. I also like the merc humiliation move in CT better than the bogus roid rage head butt in DA. I also liked the ability to launch the grenades as a spy. I think they could take away the tazer and just give the spies a grenade launcher of some sort. The wifi hacking device is also very cool and should be left in the game. Then theres the proxy detector....... BY FAR the worst idea Ubisoft has ever had in terms of multiplayer additions! In my opinion it was the proxy detector, above all else, that made DA a step back from CT. |

What I thought was missing from SCDA SvM: no elbow hit for the spies, which would have been really handy and all those gadgets that we had in SCCT. Like the sticky cam, backpack, etc. They should have put those in somehow.
But that doesnt mean SCDA's MP was bad at all. Never Ignorant, Getting Goals Accomplished |

I liked all the merc changes in DA I just don't want the Proximity Detector. Sound reticule FTW

Yeah deepego. I agree. I liked the old humiliation move much better and choking out was also good because if the merc was your friend you could give them another chance. I also liked the gadget refill in DA. I think you should get 5 tazers then have to go back to the spawn area to refill. The CT maps also had a much higher replayability factor.
And yes I think if the PD was removed and replaced with the sound detector it would come very close to bettering CT Spy V Merc. I am a firm believer this change was only made because it would be too hard to program AI for L&S detection. "I think the company has blocked the Dev's access to the forums.
