I'm not really a big fan of the versus multiplayer... At all, but I loved the co-op that CT had. I was sad face when I found out that DA didn't have it. Will Conviction have it?

You need to play the original Xbox version of DA. It has some cool coop missions on there. It's real coop too, not the fake mission coop of the 360 version.

I hope conviction as a splitscreen coop.With agent 1 and agent 2.Or should we be able to play coop in conviction with 4 PLAYERS!THATS AWESOME!!!Agent 1 has blue goggles.Agent 2 has red goggles like CT.And agent 3 has yellow goggles.And agent 4 has green goggles.AWESOME!!! Veryhappy

Would anyone be interested in a ranking system like what Rainbow six Vegas had for example ?

Its seems to be standard for most games with multi-player now !

A remake of PT and CT on 1 disc with updated graphics, physics and controls. Keep the same gameplay including gadget refils for mercs. (You should KO mercs instead of breaking their neck, works alot better.) And there u got yourself a bonafied SC:C MP.

I don't really care enough for a ranking system. IMO it ruins the MP experience because people will start quitting and cheating for ranks.

actually i think people are more likely to quit and cheat when there isnt anything to play for. It gets boring just playing to gain nothing thus making people try and find more fun things to do like glitch for example. It would be nice to have a ranking system like rsv and be able to customize your spy as you rank up

With Beland at the helm its seems like a possibility that there will be some sort of ranking system.

Maybe, not so much as a ranking system, i care about, but maybe unlockables, when you rank or level up Thumbs Up that would be cool. Or maybe an objective system like in COD:4, like break 10 peoples necks for sweaters, or wetsuits and guns and gadgets, and be able to choose camo like in R6V.

I fully support a ranking system with a series of unlockables. It's what has keept R6V2 and COD4 in my system, while Halo 3, Gears 2 and GTA 4 gather dust. Even though they all have rankings (including SCDA), it is the reward system that keeps COD 4 and R6V2 fun.

I wonder if the destructible environments will be implemented into mp. I can envision playing as a spy and being able to use the environment as a distraction or trap for the mercs.

I'm going to assume that spies will still be able to access areas that mercs are not capable of, but I would like to see some more phyical abilities given to the mercs since this game has been taken into such an action oriented game.

And i do think spies vs. mercs will be in the game, but i am hoping for some other new inventive game modes. One mode that could be interesting is having two teams of spies, all assigned random characters before the start of a game, all with the same physical abilities, using social stealth within a npc crowd and each team with the same objective. All the while, the spies are trying to stay hidden and figure out who the other spies are at the same time. I think it could lead to some pretty intense moments.

On CT, there were a couple of environmental hazards, like the crane of Factory, the box on Aquarius and the cylinders on Steel Squat.

what about how DA had it were mercs can grapple hook down to the floor and add it where they can grapple up to. or also make it were you got different classes of spy and mercs like you can have a faster spy but he dies quicker or you get a slower one who takes more damage. And a merc who can run faster but carries less equipment or one who runs slow and carries more.

Also i think a character creation for your spy and merc would be awesome. You should be able to customize a character just like in Gta or saints row that would be really cool. What do you guys think

I just hope the ranking system isn't as simple as DA was. I prefer a ranking system like the one in COD. With each rank comes some sort of gadget or unlockable character skin.

I'm with you, man! It is pretty slim, considering Montreal doesn't do the MP. The seperate team has done all of the MultiPlayer modes for every single Splinter Cell game, including Conviction.

I know you don't mind the DA game play, ha I enjoyed it as well. I just miss the original Pandora and CT gameplay. I get so upset whenever I think of how much it has changed, but I think Conviction will either make or break the series, atleast for me.

I guess either way, I'll be playing the game anyway. Competitively...lol

They Should get a proper ranking system, there was no point of playing ranked matches in SCDA, for example if i would get a 1000 points a session( which would require a lot of skill) but i would not have a lot of time to play because of school, work or something else, anyone that would play only half as good could get more points by just playing more than me.

I think the best example of a good Ranked playlist systems is the halo 3 system

More then likely when the next OXM comes out (august)

seeing as the devs don't answer any serious questions around here or release any info.
