There should be a prequel to that of SCDA, if Ubisoft could make such happen. Splinter Cell is labeled "Splinter Cell", meaning that having Sam Fisher a fugitive clearly doesn't make it fit right into the picture of what the franchise was originally about as its concept in the first place. If there won't be any game in the SC franchise that goes back to the roots of the first three, I don't think that it will be very much good at all. Light & Dark gameplay, a Splinter Cell suit, the goggles, and the weapons & gadgets from the first three are what we need back. I'll still rent Conviction if it's a good game, depending on its reviews, but I likely won't be much happy with it since it's not about being a Splinter Cell anymore, defeating the purpose of it being a Splinter Cell title.
SCDA felt like I was playing a demo for the real game.It seemed that Ubisoft Shanghai cut so many corners and you can tell because they send you to the JBA about 30 times. It wasn't neccesary at all they just were to lazy to make different levels.Even the missions[discluding Africa] that had potential[particualary Shanghai]were cut way to short.I want to see a non rushed version of SC this time.

And how do you know that, six year old kid?
@topic: Nah, i dont think that his daughter will come back. I would be happy to see her alive, but i think she died in the accident. Cloning would be possible, but how could she grow that fast? It would be too much SiFi.

Um, yeah.. I think you guys are on crack. Do any of you have any insight into Sam's character?
Sam has devoted his life to protecting a country that can't even protect his family.
That's just too cool of a premise to let go of. There's no way she's coming back.
Why would 3rd E want to kill Sam's duaghter anyway. And even more importantly if there was adavnced cloning program why on earth would they clone Sarah? She's not important, on top of that where would they get her memories? Unless the government has a super secrect data vualt conating brain scans of all it's citizens-which, i must add, is even more ridiculos than cloning. She's dead and now Sam has even more reason to be the most sullen and surley special agent in the world, more for the better I say.
What was I talking about? Oh, yeah! You guys are on crack!
bringing sara back is a bad idea.it would only hurt the game.sams wifes dead the only thing left is his daughter.so when she get killed sams has nothing els left to live for besides living itself.and i mean comon if sara came bck he'd be to happy.sams sopposed to be betrayed as someone whos been hardend by battle and has very little emotion.his tuff and mean and not very happy.

I think we shouldn't speak too fast about things... The whole "Lambert lied to Sam and she is still alive" thing could be done greatly, if ye reckon Lambert still lives... Sam devoted his life to protecting a country, working for someone who betrayed him, would be great... She could even have gone undercover, working for 3E for example, while they told her that her father died while on a mission... so they both think the other's death... skip the cloning part, too much scifi... just keep the original... her death was emotional for Sam, but finding out she's alive will be even worse, cause he realises he was betrayed by someone he trusted completely... and face it, Lambert would make a wonderfull "bad guy"

Er, right... what qualifications exactly does Sarah Fisher have that make her suitable for use in an undercover capacity?
As for Lambert being a bad-guy - they've already done the whole 'betrayed by someone he trusted' angle with Shetland in Chaos Theory.
Lambert was Sams blood brother, theres no way he'd double cross Fisher, I think theres a son of Lamberts thats in the Intelligence community that will show up in Conviction to help Sam on the sly
I kinda like the whole clonning sarah idea. Ohh and who would want to do such a thing well director willams and Shetland. We never actully saw shetland die in CT. I mean we assume he died but whos to know.
During the interactive cutscene sam has his gun out pointed at Shetlands head. You can choose to shoot him, or holster your firearm. If you put your gun away, Shetland tries to shoot you with his gun, but Fisher stabbes him cause he's faster.
That cutscene was terrible... because even if you shoot him, Sam still states he wouldn't do it... That's not what a loyal friend would do... i always save ammo though...

That's kinda the point... it's meant to be able to taken two ways.
1. "You wouldn't shoot an old friend." He tries to shoot Sam, Sam stabs him. "You're right Doug, I wouldn't shoot an old friend."
2. "You wouldn't shoot an old friend." Sam shoots him. "You're right Doug, I wouldn't shoot an old friend."
It's a joke! When you look at me like that, it's a joke.

Makes perfectly sense if you think about it.
If Sam stabbs Douglas then his statement is correct because he would never shoot an old friend.
If Sam shoots him, then his statement is also correct because he would never shoot an old friend (at this point Sam no longer considered Douglas as friend).
