Ok...this idea hit me recently:how Sam can interrogate a NPC by using crowd mechanics.First off, let's say Sam needs to gather info on his next objective and he can do that by interrogating an specific NPC.Let's say that the target is in a very crowded place.Sam can get close to him and for example, since his equipment is very limited,he can use an improvised knife and threaten to stab him(kinda extreme i know) if he screams or/and doesn't tell him what he wants to know(also Sam is threatening the NPC from behind like in the older SC games but with the tip/back of the knife stuck to his back this time.).But his time in doing this is very limited because he can be seen by the other civilians around him and/or the police. When he's finished with interrogating he can make himself scarce by running or by blending with other crowds.
Dunno but I thought it works well with the scenario. What do you guys think? Also if you have better ideas feel free to post |

I think it'd be a nice feature to be able to write my own notes like in a notebook that Sam keeps in his pack, or a palm pilot I guess.
The notes in the originals were way too limited to door codes and pointless e-mails. I'd constantly be writing in it to make note of patrols, good hiding and observation spots, stealthier routes, back-up plans, etc. Other than that, I think gathering intelligence should be left up to yourself to observe, pulling hard intel from sticky notes and files on computers, having a contact to meet somewhere, and the whole door code idea could be tossed out the window and replaced with actual keys. Guards would sooner carry a key than a piece of paper with a door code on it... Interrogating, I don't know. Interrogating a civilian would give Sam a bad reputation, and I can't say running away would be the smartest plan in my opinion. Too risky and way too sloppy. Yea,I know what you mean by that.Maybe I didn't make it too clear in the first post, but that interrogation method works only for important NPC's,not a random civilian that is walking on the street. Also, the old interrogation method from past SC games should be left in Conviction because it still can be used imo. Also,I agree with the notebook part, because it can also serve as an replacement for the PDA since Sam is now stripped of his hi-tech equipment. Edit: Scrap the running part,I realised myself it's kinda dum and I didn't think much about it |

In the second Chinese Embassy mission, shoot the chef at the restaurant. Lambert doesn't even care Apparently the Fifth Freedom includes innocents if the situation is deadly enough. I hope some terrorists never decide to hide a nuclear missile in my neighborhood or else the special ops might go all Fifth Freedom on me... well, its been said in previews that he can lure guards away by doing something a bit suspicious so they follow him into a dark alleyway and then BAM. i'm sure he could slip round the side and come up behind the guy.t hen he could intterogate him.

I never said Sam should hurt the civilian.Sam could just threaten him so he gives him the info he's looking for.I'm not too good at explaining things,it seems |
