I'm not really bothered by the one year thing.

Worse things have happened in life, and this isn't really all that bad.

We'll all live to see another day, and they'll release information eventually.

Ive heard eventually from alot of moderators and yet there is no info so what does eventually mean. Another day, month, week maybe even year.

Eventually means eventually. An indefinite and unspecified amount of time. Could be tomorrow, could be three months from now.

I'll give you my rough estimates for it if you care to hear.

If they plan to stick with this release date, we will start getting loads and loads of information within the next two or three months via the marketing campaign before it hits shelves. They'll want to put in advertisements in magazines, set up for reviews, information releases, at least four months before it hits shelves so it gets the publicity it needs.

If they decide to delay it again, obviously they will have to come out a few weeks before release and state that it will be delayed again due to whatever reason.

So hold on to your hat, could be within the next month, and at the very longest, the next six months.

Im tired of this waiting its incredible that one year isnt enough if ConVicition info doesnt come out at Ubidays ill say that Conviction is a failed project.

I'd just wait until they say themselves that it's been canceled.

It's been in development for awhile now, but a year past original expectations is not so long. It's just the lack of information that makes it feel that way.

This game probably wont beat Gears of War 2 or any other big game.

Well... it's expected that nothing will beat GOW2...

I was hoping SC would go back to its roots and maybe beat it but that wont happen if this game is like they tell us it will be.

Eh, they said the same thing about Halo 3. Every game is unbeatable in its own right.

Why would you even compare ConViction to Gears of War? We're too busy trying to defend it against people comparing it to Grand Theft to worry about Gears of War.

Here's a copy of Tony Hawk's American Wasteland, and a copy of Pokemon Stadium. Go play them both and then compare them, pronto!

Personally, I don't care. Ubisoft is known to have little to no care about their fans/buyers. They're always delaying games, keeping information from us, and making games just plain disappointing. I wasn't planning on buying the game anyways.

I think SVG's first post makes this thread worth it... lmao!
