I know they haven't released any new information, but what kinds of gadgets or weapons would you like to see Sam use in Conviction. Just say a general thing don't try to invent your own weapon/gadget.
I for one would like to see Sam use the Sonic grenade. And if you don't know what that is it is a grenade that instead of exploding makes an annoying, loud sound. I think that would be a good way to distract guards or civilians. I would also like to see the fire or foam grenade.
It is true that Splinter cell has been a 'gadget game', but we humans are different individuals with different views. What I mean't was that having this as an option will add greater flexibility to the gameplay. For eg. some of these approaches include manipulating people by knowing their weakness and so on.
Fisher is a fugitive in SCC, so he will not (or hardly) have those high tech gadgets like in earlier games. As far as I have seen, he uses his environment and diversion as "gadget".
But he will be able to buy stuff on blackmarket. I wonder what this will be.

Not really. What I mean is that 'forcing people to do the work for you'.One thing I really wish is that the game should offer us both 'Light and Shadow' and 'Social Stealth' and we can then choose how to complete the game ie either by using 'L&S'or 'Social Stealth' or both.
That way the developers will please both crowds From the little information on the game(and it might be too "early" to judge it),Conviction seems very limited in my oppinion..I hope they will release some new info so we'll atleast know what we're dealing with.

Yes but i can expect a part of the game which Sam steals the equipements of a Splinter Cell and use it. It could also be a nice level
I would like to see the ablility to change clothing for like disguises and stuff, or be able to steal guards clothing to be able to get into certain areas, kinda like Hitman. it might also work to allow you to steal cars and such
The only gadgets I ever used were the rifle and pistol. Seeing how he has an SMG, and assuming he might have a silenced pistol for when he just wants to take out one guy without letting the whole city know about it, I'm content.
He might have a cheap PDA for keeping notes and stuff on, but I doubt he'll have a computer-hacking, lock-picking, laser-shooting super terminal on it. And I would loathe it if he did.
The original OPSAT was just a PDA so he could get a replacement. As for others, I'd like to see some MacGuyver'd gadget's, perhaps, like a diversion camera you have to physically place or throw (instead of launch). Then again, I remember on of the best parts of CT was beating the Bank level with only a rock...

But if you talk to Grim in the training level, she mentions it being a multi-million dollar PDA.
A PDA that costs that much is not just a PDA. Sure, you could replace it with a cheap blackbury, but if you want to replace it, you need the whole dang thing. You want the nice LCD and the leather outline that attaches so smoothly to your arm, and the spinners are a must. You can't have a PDA without spinners, chrome ones.
I wonder if you can get your goggles your suit and everything back in the black market but that is if the game is really being redesigned or at least get cheap gadgets and later on get upgrades or buying new ones. Also what if Lambert, Grim, and Redding were the people helping you get them plus helping you out on the missions.

I know that and Redding will be coming back I dont know if Lambert will but he will probably be there.

Thats not whats Splinter Cells about but I guess its your opinion if you like ConViction go ahead and say that but Splinter Cell is a Splinter Cell game AKA spy game not a Double Agent or Fugitive on the run game.
