I know what the new game is about and I understand its purpose I just dont like it. Most people bought SC for its gameplay and now that its been taken awaya SC isnt unique anymore.

Although you haven't even seen it? We can debate on that but not without a base of facts. Sigs & Avatars | Terms of Use | My Blog | Patches & more | Vth_F | W[N]M | NORG Xbox Live Gamer Tag: Vth F Smith |

Yes I have seen it not the new thing theyre talking about but social stealth seems too common unlike someone hiding in the shadwos which is not common at all. |

You really think you've seen active stealth? You barely scratched the surface of it. Sigs & Avatars | Terms of Use | My Blog | Patches & more | Vth_F | W[N]M | NORG Xbox Live Gamer Tag: Vth F Smith |

How would you know so much have you actually seen it so that you can tell me I just scratched its surface?

There are barely any social stealth games, and none of them have portrayed a well-enough enthusiasm to detail and realism. How many stealth (L&S) games are there? MGS, Splinter-Cell, Vampire Rain, Tenchu, Thief, Hitman, Syphon Filter, etc. You have to understand that we have barely done anything to the social/crowd system stealth idea, and it needs a lot of time in the oven if SC:C will be the next main successor of a different type of stealth. |

I didnt mean as if in gaming but in real life you dont see to many people hiding in the shadows in real life do you.

lol, no, because you can't see them
as with social stealth... you can see them, but you just don't know you do :/ ______________________ What you read in my posts and what I am trying to tell you. One might not be the other, while the other might nog be one. Please disagree, I love a healthy debate. I don't hate you. I don't know you. I don't want you. I don't exist. Do you? The shadows are the best place to hide. Even the sun can't spot you there. What do you think about the information and communication of Ubisoft? |

Actually, only the SCs, Thief, and Tenchu (Z, to be specific), are really L&S stealth games, of those you listed... MGS and Vampire Rain are LoS. Hitman's sorta social (demented and sad...but social [please someone know what that's from...LoL]). And Syphon Filter...I don't know. I've never played them, but I've also never heard anything that made me think they were stealth games (as in, I've seen them described as "action oriented third person shooters"). ------- "Tonight's forecast...dark." |

Syphon Filter is first and foremost an action-oriented shooter, but it does have a few elements of line of sight, and a primitive social stealth feature at some parts. I've only played the Omega Strain (not that I enjoyed it so much) and there were quite a few levels where I was sneaking, both through vents, and also in the streets in plain sight. In fact, the very first level of Omega Strain allows you to get into a hazard suit and pretend to be a researcher in a contaminated area, and there's another mission where you can kill an enemy and steal his parka. I wouldn't call it a stealth game, but it does have quite a few stealthy moments. WoW... I hope its true.. |

E3.net isn't the official site on what games will be at E3, but yeah, I think everyone here is still hoping the game will be at E3.

I hope so too.
Well today is the fifth, and E3 begins on the fifteenth, so I estimate that we'll be getting an official list in six or eight days, and maybe Ubisoft will post something about it being there, if it will really be there. Well Gamespots list isn't the official list either.
Let's wait for official word on it, and not count on secondhand information, gamer articles, game retailers, etc. "ConViction is so different, you wonder what makes Ubisoft think this should even be called a sequel to the critically acclaimed and groundbreaking series." – IGN.com |

That sounds like MGS4. Well, that was a smoking monkey. Here's a question for anyone who's played MGS4 all the way through: Does the monkey ever get to wear a fez? |

All I want is a 20 sec trailer of Sam going diving. You see him dive down to the bottom of the ocean.
Then you see him reach out his hand and the camera shifts view to his goggles. thats all I want. that will hold me over till the release. |
