I don't believe something like that is only caused by one person. According to my experience, it often needs two - the "sender" and the one who "receives" it, because he/she is the one who needs to interpret it the right way.

By using a text based communication system like an Online Forum, you have to keep in mind, that maybe not everyone is able to interpret your words the way they are intended. In a Forum users don't hear a tone in your voice or see your facial expression (which usually helps to interpret a message). That's actually the reason, why I prefer to use Emoticons (smilies - lots of smilies actually ), if I want to make someone aware of my current mood, which often helps to interpret my message the way it's intended. However it's not a perfect substitute (as you probably know by now).

But hey, "nothing is perfect"!

Could this thread be renamed to "Still almost nothing about Splinter Cell: ConViction"? After all, it's not much info and the info we got is highly outdated.

No info about anything yet they said they would say something in the forthcoming months but with Ubi you never know how much time you need to wait for info.

ive seen it pushed forward from october 2007 to november 2007, then to january 2008, then to march 2008, and now ive heard october 2008.

does anyone have any details at all about a release date ?

I'm betting on 2009.
