I think this should be highlighted on the first post:

Apparently the engine is Unreal 2.5, not 3. No idea what this actually means, maybe it's just a heavily modified 2 rather than a whole new engine.

From what I have seen in the HD trailer, the engine is very impressive ... regardless of what engine it is

Agent that I removed it from my hard drive (within a week & I finished the previous games to completion). I was so disappointed, since I'm a huge Splinter Cell fan & was eagerly awaiting the new release. I felt betrayed, because Splinter Cell started out on the PC and yet the PC users got ripped with a bugged filled game not worthy of the Splinter Cell title. So, I am willing to forgive if the gameplay on the PC is worthy of the first three games in the series.

Why do I getthe feeling that Ubi are gonna pull the plug on this game? It seems to me that since Double agent they've taken the essence of Splinter Cell away from the franchise. I'm a huge, HUGE fan and personally I just want it to go back to what it was. If I wanted Conviction I would have rented the Bourne Identity...

They're not going to cancel the game it makes zero sense.

Give them a break, I'm not happy with them ignoring us and giving us no details but they need to be left alone to make the game they're making not what we want them to make.

Hopefully SC6 will be more of what we want with Sam back in 3rd Echelon, part of me thinks they may go crazy though and dump Sam and/or the franchise. This would be stupid
