Um... okay?

I never said that's what I'm begging my soul out for, I said that's what everyone else is begging for.

Look around the forums for a few minutes, people like me who like social stealth are kinda outnumbered, a lot.

You misunderstood, I'm not speaking for or about myself at all, just everyone else.

And I'm not trying to speak for you, you don't have to be everyone else if you don't want to.

Join the social stealth crowd if you want... some pun intended Wink2

My apologies. I was a bit fed up with the light/shadow crowd and took it out on one of the few people who's actually giving this game a chance. Should've checked your previous posts. I'd rather see most people on this board loosen up about Conviction than pick a side, but I'm afraid that's not an option at the moment. So many people are determined to hate this game before it breaks media blackout. Sad to see that happen. I'd love it if Ubi were a little more forthcoming with information, though they're understandably busy. I'm skeptical about social stealth, since AC's wasn't exactly refined, but hopefully Montréal will pull it off, like they have in the past. I like SC's new "fugitive" direction, and can't wait to see a further-developed Conviction in action. Again, I apologize for my stupidity.

No need to apologize, I understand you.

I see where the light and shadow community is coming from, feeling like their series has been pushed in an entirely different direction, but Ubisoft has a few surprises up its sleeve, and they're not going to leave the hardcore fans out on the street.

Like Thomas said, "a single light in your face may hide what's in the shadow, with more light sources all the details are revealed."

Ubisoft is giving us a single light source, and we've come up with everything else on our own, guessing, making rumors, saying what it will be and what it won't be. Wait for more information, there will be more to the game. Wink2

O cool! I can expect support this time? Last time I checked, I still crash on Kinshasa while loading and saving. Great Big Grin Actually, I also missed support for SCCT (Coop + Versus) and to be honest also some stuff in PT.

Indifferent
We've been treated liked dogs for a lot of games, some worse than others, but I won't be fooled again. Even if the games gets A++-reviews, goes back to L&S, and a lot of other stuff, I'll only get it after it's got its third patch. Which will be never. Muhahaha.

That's a good thing, though! You want to be surrounded by people, and you are. Veryhappy

Yeah... but these people are unstable and they're pushy for their light and shadow back. If I walk up and pretend like I'm a part of their conversation, they might eat me. Sad

I won't; I don't eat red meat. Smile

Thanks. Smile You certainly have a way with words. And I agree. I understand where they're coming from, but I just can't see the benefit in trolling an official game forum with "your game sucks" while the developers are responsible for the best games in what is probably their favorite stealth series. I figure Montréal deserve a little credit, especially given only the few tidbits of info we've been fed about Conviction. It's rude, unconstructive and unproductive. Hopefully it'll quiet down once we get some more info on the game.
