And that is the key, right there. There are a lot of people who assume that just because Ubisoft devs don't fall all over themselves to make changes that they specifically want, that they aren't listening to fan feedback at all. Devs get so much info from so many places that it is impossible, not to mention illogical, to take all their feedback from one place or group.

so then why get rid of it? it baffles me why you are changing the game so much.

let me ask you this Razz. just give me one piece of info that will atleast set silent most of the people complaining in these forums for a little while....

will there be any L&S at all in splinter cell convictions?

As much as I'd love to take a video of what I saw this morning and show it to you, I can't say anything more than this.

Once we show you the game again we shall explain all.

hopefully this is hope of light and shadow gameplay. but if ubi is not letting you tell us there is light and shadow gameplay that is terrible marketing. Cause there are so so many ticked of fans right now that could be happy with convictions if that info was released way way sooner. i dont care though.....i just want a sequel to chaos theory

Thats nacho cheese........

He can't go into detail. Pity, but I don't think Razz likes it that way either... we just have to be a little patient... a little... as in... till... what about 2012?

For some people ConViction is the end of the world as we know it Wink

No, I guess sooner, but who know's... as long as we don't have to burst Desmond out of his cell in the final mission. Razz

Sucks having a job about communication and then not being allowed to communicate. Kinda defeats the purpose.

I hope Ubi learned the lesson of not revealing the new title and stuff until it's at least at Alpha stage. FYI: it was supposed to be released September 2007. There's just a lot of miscalculation. There's a reason why I make PS's Tick Tock threads only 2-3 days before we release new stuff: I am sure we have what we want to show, so nobody is disappointed. K, I can be late 14 minutes, but I am usually on time, up to the minute. While "Ubi delays" are months if not years.

So the asset management just sucks. I hoped Ubi learned it with PT, then I hoped they learned it with CT, then with DA and they blew it already with SCC. Just bad management, and/or wrong time schedules.

This is some well-meant feedback for the higher management. Don't make some of us (the pro-SCC guys I mean) drool with stuff that you deliver a year late in the end.

Well, from a marketing standpoint, it IS better to anounce something for 'soon' even if you're sure it will be at least a year.

I hear what you're saying, scworld, and I empathise I really do. Unfortunately situations change and evolve, people like/dislike particular things and we need to account for that with delays. It sucks but delaying a game is, in my opinion, never a bad thing. It only makes the game better.

Guys, don't get too angry but a leaked image on the internet pointed toward there being more hero powers now than just his vision.

Maybe some interactive experience PR is planning to have us gather our own info... dunno, but there better be a good reason.
