Hey guys, I remember when I used to love playing Pandora Tomorrow online, It still is one of the best online experiences I have ever had. My question is this, I am thinking about buy Double Agent to try to have the same experience over again. 1. Is it as good as PT? 2. Is there anybody that still plays it online? thanks.

Depends on your platform.
If you want the Versus mode of PT, go with Chaos Theory.
Double Agent doesn't have the Versus mode as you knew it, but a watered-down version.

For CT, there are still many players left on PC. SCDA online is dead.

Here's another point: Double Agent isn't the same type of stealth (spy) and tracking/killing (merc) experience.
1)Maps are brightly lit and wider spaced, so there are less ambushes.
2)Spies can carry only one gadget. This is a direct response, I believe, to triple 'nading technique used by aggo spies in Chaos Theory.
3)No stick shocker P90 gun. Another hit to aggro spies.
4)Third hit to aggro spies: smoke grenades aren't as effective.
5)Fourth hit to aggro spies: mercs have unlimited ammo for their assault rifles.
6)Fifth hit to aggro spies and spies in general: no more elbow hits.
7)Final hit to aggro spies: mercs have a Proximity Detector to tell them when spies are near. This, unfortunately, also makes it so that you can't sneak around him when in the same room.
8)Mercs no longer have a sound detector (having been replaced by PD) so spies are free to run as much as they want.
If any of this sounds bad to you, don't buy the game.

So there are still a considerable amount of people playing CT online?

On PC, almost the same as the numbers 1 month after launch. These are the vets and probably some newcomers. I suggest you try contacting the vets to learn the ins and outs of CT. There are little differences with PT, but because of your experience, you should be able to grasp it quickly.

Dunno if you already decided, but my advice is don't buy. The on-line is horrible horrible horrible HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE.

Maybe the SP game is alright, but I heard it was kind of recycled.

buy chaos theory for the awesome single player and the even more awesome multiplayer.
