Seems to me that there's going to be some martial law laid out in Conviction that'll see the US Military playing a role in some events.

I don't see the "terrorists" getting their hands on any such gear like that.

I'm assuming that behind Sam is the White House, so could the right side of it just be an extension of the grounds?

Yeah, this is a good question, I've often thought about it myself. For a while I wondered if it were just a bit of Clancy style art to fit with the espionage flavor of the SC games...

But to be more creative, perhaps Malta and DC aren't the only places Sam visits. SC games have always taken place in multiple locations. There looks to be snow around the APC so perhaps it's in Russia or North Korea... but that bench seat looks like its from DC or Europe... maybe.

If it is martial law I wonder if Sam will be with or against the military. I imagine that he will be with them. It could add an interesting new flavor to things if you get to work with other soldiers. Like Sam could be sent in first, and take out key points, maybe knock out the power and then the soldiers storm the area.

I always thought it would have been neat if you got to work with the army in the first game when the oil rig was under siege, though the fact that Sam wasn't really there would have made that difficult.

So considering that Sam is now not working for 3E he can actually go places and really be there, lol, you may get to work with the military... Some of Sam's army buddies were supposed to show up.

I think, that whole Washington level will be very same as in SCC@07, because of same screenshot is used in the main banner of this SCC forum.

If that happens, I hope Sam goes and uses the Presidents personal commode and plugs it up as a way of showing his displeasure with being stabbed in the back by the Govt. he trusted, protected and fought for, for so long...
