IDK what happened to AD williams, lamberts condition is unknown and enrica dies. (in the xbox version, she gets shot by another splinter cell and sam goes insane and slits the other splinter cells throat. (in the xbox360 version, you can either kill enrica yourself in the last JBA mission or you can not blow up the cruise ship and frame enrica, and emile will shoot her right in front of you) (heh, that was a cool cutscene)
from what I know Lambert dies in double agent even though you are given a option not to kill him.Enrica dies in the xbox version like he said.Williams is the main bad guy who his framing sam.and grim comes back in this one.but thats all i know about characters.since you get the option to kill Lambert he will not show up in the game dead or alive, not for sure though
Ya I remember im like a huge fan of the series...I have both the 360 and the original Xbox....also wats up with Essentials?
I remeber that at the end Sam got away with the disk that had information to frame him...telling AD Williams that he would come back for him...will they be branching off of that storyline as well?
Judging by what little we know about ConViction, while I can't say for 100% sure, I think I can tell how Essentials fits into the story.
When we left Sam in Double Agent, he was running from the government as they still buy the bank robbery story and they think he killed Lambert while part of terrorist group. The hole in the story between DA and SCC is Essentials.
*** Spoilers***
In Essentials, Sam successfully retrieves the disk from A.D. Williams that shows that Sam was acting as a NOC agent. That would explain them forgiving the bank robbery and allowing him back in the NSA in SCC. I guess he is able to convince them that he "killed" Lambert to save his cover and is forgiven for that as well. It would also explain why Grimsdottir is in trouble as she was the one who found the information that Sam was acting as a NOC agent and burned it to a disk. AD Williams threatened her and took it from her. When she went to re-burn the information, she accidently triggered a security script causing the info to delete itself. That left the disk that Williams had the only copy of the evidence that Sam was innocent. In the last level of Essentials, the signal Sam and Grimsdottir were communicating on was jammed and we never heard from her again for the rest of the game. They may have found and taken her.
***End Spoilers***
What we little we know of ConViction, Sam is back in the good graces of the NSA somehow, as he is working for them again and that Grimsdottir is in some kind of trouble. The happenings of Essentials seem to explain all of these happenings.
are you talking about the bank robbery in chaos theory,or is there something like that in essentials.and does essentials say anything about the jba characters.

She's talking about the bank robbery in DA. It's not a mission it is told through the storyline.

Well nobody knows what happened to him in the xbox360 version but like in the xbox version if you choose not to kill him williams says something like: "emile roughed him up pretty bad, but he will recover" so I think he might be alive...possibly.
I reckon Enrica will be the one helping you in C instead of lambert. (as in through the mic)
