But maybe it really depends on how far away you are from your enemies.
I think you're refering to the Death from Above move and that one doesn't seem to be part of the M & E feature. It rather looks like a SC typical contextual move, like the inverted chokehold or the inverted neckbreak back in Chaos Theory. You can even see the X Button "Death from Above" popping up, once the enemy is close enough to Sam. Wink2

As far as I remember, the inverted moves were considered cool enough to became the signature moves in Chaos Theory. Considering that, it makes me wonder which move is going to be the signature move in Conviction (and why they didn't add the inverted moves to the game). Smile

But, onto the question!

You guys have mentioned "Destructible Enviroments" in one of the videos, and in the Q&A thread,(Shooting the lights, Flowerpot, etc.)

Does this still include grabbing tables, chairs, and other items and using them as weapons,or is it limited to "destructible objects" that you can shoot?

I saw the tables and chairs thing I mentioned in a old video, at least 4, maybe 5 months ago, when Sam still had the overcoat and the longer hair/facial hair.

I've wondered about this, and I assume it probally still is an option, I've just seen no further instances of Sam randomly grabbing objects from the surroundings.

Thanks for reading all of this, and hopefully, anwsering it!

Can't wait for Convition!
According to an interview with the developers, the handle system (which is the name of the system that enabled Sam to grab chairs etc.) has been removed from this build. Frown

Argh. That's disappointing, but, I'm sure something even better replaced it, like M&E!

Consoles are sold at a loss so Companies like Nintendo/Microsoft/Sony need to gain revenue from game sales to make a profit so they usually price their games much higher.

You also have to take the Publisher in question into consideration when talking about the price the games are sold at.

Ok, I'll give this another shot, since my last question was already confirmed to be cut.

In close quarters, if you have a weapon equiped, and the enemy is too close to you to fire, will pressing the fire button instead result in a melee attack with the weapon, should it be a pistol whip, or a rifle butt to the stomache?

Thank's for your time guys, can't wait for release day!

Ok now since this was one of my favortie parts about Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, can we expect any sort of co-op campaign or co-op in general?

There is a part in the Stealth Featurette Trailer, which makes it look like, as if that is the case. Wink2

Story-wise: What drove you guys to kill off Sarah in DA and set Splinter Cell in a darker light, which led to a loss of a humorous interactions in Splinter Cell?

CT's dialog was filled with humorous interactions between Sam and his cohorts. Is there any chance that Splinter Cell will return in Convictions?

I'd like to know,is it gonna support DirectX11?
Is Mathieu Ferland still involved with conviction like with chaos theory and splinter cell 1?
Can we finish the game without killing anyone(don't mean the objectives)?
thanks in advance

I'm not sure any games do this? Personally I don't think it's a great idea. On PC, there are advantages and disadvantages depending on your processor and graphics card (etc..), but on the xbox everybody is on a level playing field.

The designers don't really have any control over which consoles the game will be released on. It's all about Ubisoft as a company making deals with Microsoft and Sony - or in this case, just Microsoft.

However, it is an advantage for the developers if they only have to make the game compatible for one console because they can focus on the exact capabilities of that machine. Which is good for us xbox types, but it's unlucky for on PS3.

I don't really have time to browse the SC: Conviction forums much, so I apologize if this question has been asked already or numerously.

Q: I have a great fear that the new Mark and Execute feature will make the gameplay rather dull and easy such as in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas 2. The concept in Vegas 2 was about the same, use a snake cam or peak around a corner to mark two targets and then execute and your team would aim for those high priority targets first. I found this a bit easy and eventually tiring, clearing out room after room as the kills were automatic and out of my hands. The same system seems to be implemented into Conviction. Are there any differences to the Mark and Execute feature from Vegas 2 or can you elaborate so I don't think Conviction will be clearing room after room by simple target marking?

Thank you for your time and consideration.

will there be a laser sight in this game (like in pandora tomorrow)

In pandora tomorrow we had the option to pull the l trigger and switch to a laser sight. Will this option be available in conviction and why was it not in chaos theory or double agent

Thanks for all ur hard work on conviction and all the other splinter cell titles. They were all awesome and I'm sure conviction will be too.

~FISHER- Lambert, now that I got 50 million bucks with me, it's time to talk about a raise.
~LAMBERT- Hmmm. 25 cents an hour and not a penny more.
~FISHER- Deal.

Alright. So I put $60 down on Conviction throughout the month of June. I was pretty stoked that it was set to release on the 30th of June. I went in on the 30th and to my suprise YOU DELAYED IT 3 MONTHS! You didn't give us any rhyme or reason. So my Question is what the h e double hockey sticks is going on?

Hi there!

I was just wondering whats up with sam's pistol. In the e3 demo it sounds like a silenced pistol yet it doesn't have a silencer on it(even though the little gun icon on bottom right shows a silencer)

I was wondering if this is something that will be changed and we will get traditional silencer back and even if we will have the option to take off/put on a silencer like rainbow six vegas 1/2

Thnaks for all ur hard work with splinter cell games!
