Im just gonna tell myself that's because Sam is a good hero opposing entire government in a free will. Plus I myself have always tried to do good on there games.

So there's no real problem. Sure, unrealistic, but so was NV view in 3rd person view. Sam's just a hero.

Actually, they were. You can always turn down the brightness on your TV / monitor if you need to.

It's bad enough people are calling SCC & AC the same game but to call SCC a rip off of AC?!!! Angry Blue Guy If anything, AC ripped off SCC! SC fans should be hating on AC for doing that, not SCC! Heck there should be no hating on anything cause they are not the same game! If they are the same game, then every flippin racing game is the same. They all have cars and they all race...OMG what rip off artists! Blink Roll Eyes

You could be upset that you havent seen any L&S gameplay in the footage of the game, but going to lenghts as calling the game a rip-off? Now you're just looking for excuses to be more mad at the development of the game.

Development of SCC started after SCCT was finished...before it was even released actually.

1st they ripped off Farcry with "hero vision"
2nd as far as SCC being dev before AC IDK but if it was then they sure are taking their sweet time with it considering AC came out way before SCC will. Even if it is the other way around it "crowd stealth" still sucks as a main concept for a game, it should be no more than a small addition to help get through lighted areas not the whole focus of the game. And no I never said any thing about a physics engine being a rip off, but now you mention it its been done by Valve already so you could say they ripped off them. I see nothing in this game that has not been done before. And as for the last thing yes we will see... It just it just makes me mad when ppl keep saying this is a new concept and that this series needs some thing new. Yes these thing are new to the series but they have been done before and are not ground breaking new ideas. Even crowd stealth has been done by Hitman to some extent.

How do you know it's not going to be a addition? C'mon you have even seen the screenshots of Sam inside the building yourself. Now where's the crowd? I couldn't see any. It's not the whole focus of the game, it's a gameplay mechanic, just like the distraction, the use of physics and the optional aggressive interactions. Wink2

With all due respect, now you're getting really ridiculous. Shady Valve has used Physics before yes (like a dozen game companies before and after them), but Sam won't get a gravity gun, plus physics are totally different handled in this game. According to the concept you'll be able to use every object in your surroundings with the stealth, the normal and the aggressive button, which results in totally different actions. Not to mention, it's not even the same genre.

The crowd in Hitman does not even have a real collission detection - if you look at 47th's arms when he walks through the crowd then you see his arms are passing through their arms (the crowd in AC does have a proper collission detection) - it has literally NO effect whatsoever on the gameplay in Hitman - it's just there to look nice. And don't even think there's a stealth trigger attached to it. The engine only checks if you're wearing a uniform / suit of a dead body that hasn't been found yet and are in the line of sight of an NPC, that's all. That was pretty weird to me in Hitman, you just walk through the crowd and push them aside and they didnt notice at all. The crowd was just there to make the level look pretty. Here is a non-crowd level:

Exactly! I even read in an article today written by someone who had seen 2 different levels of the game that said exactly that. The creators are only hyping the crowd thing up so much because it is something soooo new to SC. In the previous games, they made every excuse possible to avoid having to create a crowd for Sam to deal with. The few times you came across a civilian, interaction was limited to 2 things: Walking past or knocking out. Everyone at ubi is just so thrilled that now, not only were they able to create a crowd that Sam will have to get into, but also interact with.

I don't really see the point of this conversation. Either you want L&S gameplay in SCC, which is not new, or you want the new gameplay, which as pointed out is not that new, or you want something else, in which case I don't know why you are here. If the only groundbreaking new feature in SCC is the ability to pick up anything and use it as a weapon, they are focusing their efforts into all the wrong areas, as the combat system shows. This is a stealth game. The more emphasis you put on action, be it compulsory or optional, the more the stealth suffers.
