to me that would make a cool trailer or like you said a cutscene after a mission.did any one think that the double agent trailer sucked.not the gameplay part, but just the beginning.the part where sam is talking.it didn't sound or look like him.there was another trailer that was a lot better.the gameplay and cutscenes were good, just the beginning.they need a better a better trailer this time.usually really good ones give u chill bumps ,like halo "starry night" trailer, and the gears of war "mad world" trailer.those u can watch even when the game has been out for a while, and it will make want to go play it.thats why i thought your idea would make a perfect trailer or cutscene.gave me chill bumps

Everybody remembers John Hodge (Sam's partner) in the first mission in Iceland of SC-DA. Right?
This is what I was thinking. How about bringing him back? (I'm well aware that he died. Yes) But what if he survived somehow? They could show an FMV sequence of how he survives. I'd love to see that. (Kinda like how Mona Sax survives getting shot in the head in the the game "Max Payne") In SC-C, John Hodge would be employed by the CIA or Dept Of Homeland Security or whoever to nab Sam Fisher and they end up as allies. (Kind of like the relationship between FBI Agent Budiansky and Frank Castle in the Punisher comics.) |

Thats a good idea, but with the issue over Lambert, and the dropping of several charactors, I don't think having ANOTHER charactor issue would be the best thing to do right now...
|
||||
|
That's a good idea, but with all of the other charactor problems I don't think it would be a good idea to screw around with more people in the game...

But that's actually the problem. Max Payne was full of semi-psychology, dream sequences and bullet time - it wasn't realistic at all - you can't do that in a Clancy game because everybody knows if you get shot in the head point blank you won't survive. True. But Hodge didn't get shot in the head.

John Hodge wasn't that bright though. He disobeyed orders from a high level field agent and his very high level employers and instructors. Considering that he was on a do-or-die mission, he's not that bright. I say we either use Agent 1 or Agent 2 from Chaos Theory. If not them, then an anonymous Shadownet spy from CT, who are at least trained in stealth. If not them, then the all-blue, head-half-exposed spies from Double Agent versus, who are not trained in stealth, but are masters of trapeze acts and jumping around. An upcoming novel by me. Thanks Melonie for the sig! |

John Hodge doesn't always die. Well, OK, he does, but sometimes an error will occur where he doesn't fall down, he just stands there, quivering under incoming fire. It's funny.
Just thought I'd throw that out. I mentioned the idea of SC-C being played from the perspective of another Third Echelon agent w/out knowing it was already a thread. But it does make sense, cause a hobo's smell gives him away. Vode An. |

No, but unless he can survive about five shots to the chest and stomache and maybe even the neck, and a missile explosion on the launch pad, and then most likely the entire building collapsing on him, he's not making it into the next game. Trust me, he's a shot-up burning radioactive corpse buried under the rubble of what was once a cheap metal building. Even if he did survive, he's stupid, ignorant, arrogant, annoying, and for good measure's sake, he's ugly too. The entire time you're disabling the electric fence, he's hiding behind a dumpster and mouthing off over the intercom about how you're slow and old and deaf. He totally deserved to die. I love watching him die every time |

... Because the goggles are mind-controlling beings from another planet? Or maybe... taking the goggles off would reveal the agent as Sarah, his long-lost daughter, being mind-controlled by goggle beings from Star Wars! Lol, I don't know, tell us, please. |

Uhm...no, not really! George Lucas just called and told me to thank you for the Star Wars Product Placement unfortunately he didn't seem to have your adress so he considered it as a free service and won't pay you! No, serious. I didn't let Sam take the goggles because I assume that they are bugged in order to track down an operative on the field, so if Sam would have taken them, the bad guys would have instantly known where he is. BTW: Is anyone interested in the Trailer idea? Ugly? But...you only see him for a short period of time and not even without a mask? I'm...confused. I don't know why no one else liked the alcohol in the fire can idea, I loved it. Your trailer idea rocks the shop.
And... I spend a lot of time doing stupid things in Splinter Cell. If there was a Bob and Steve of the solo campaign, they would call him Lauren, the foolish old Splinter Cell. Corner grabbing my own allies, finding hysterical uses for wall mines and flash grenades, and of course just staring at Hodge for a long time. Trust me, he's really ugly... When he hides behind the dumpster, he takes off his night vision because he's in the light, so just look through your scope at him then. That's all the more reason why he's so stupid because he's standing right under the dang light, and if you don't take out the other guards when you come up from under the ice, they could totally see him. I tried to whistle the guard all the way over there once to see if he'd shoot John, but he just stared at him for a second and turned around... |

But there is another agent that disappeared and nobody ever knew about him again and thats Hisham Hamza so could he make it to Conviction even if you had the choice to kill him.

Not necessarily. Depending on how you played the game, he might have not even survived. Sigs & Avatars | Terms of Use | My Blog | Patches & more | Vth_F | W[N]M | NORG Xbox Live Gamer Tag: Vth F Smith |

Guess the only other agents appearing are the splinter cell duo.

I can see Bob and Steve making a comeback. And because they aren't fugitives, all these rumors about crowd-based co-op and crowd-based SvM are crazy.
If the co-op agents aren't even on the run from the cops, how would Ubisoft put them in a crowd and make them hide from the cops? It wouldn't even make any sense. I say any co-op would be light and shadow based, doing stuff behind the scenes. |

No way, he's ugly too. Apparently his face design was inspired by a fat version of Antonio Banderas, and his left eye is non-functional if you look at it through the scope. It's kind of funny to watch him die instead of sniping him because he sucks at hand to hand combat and they all come at him with Matrix-style moves. |
