I was watching this show called "Taboo" on National Geographic Channel, and i heard a track from Splinter Cell Chaos Thery, it is a action track that plays when you get spotted. Also i have hear multiple soundtracks in movies, series and games that sounds like music from Splinter cell. Is splinter cell custom made music that they stole. or is it just a preset music you find on the internet / the program you use to create the game in?

Have you guys ever encountered anything like this?

I noticed a sound of Splinter Cell in "experiment" show called "Galileo". I think they often use this sounds. The sounds even fits to the situations they are showing.

I think that since the soundtrack for Chaos Theory was released it's a piece of music that is used in many other medias.

I've heard pieces from Amon Tobin's Chaos Theory in several places before, can't recall one of them right now though

I recall hearing the music from the Lighthouse mission from CT on Top Gear a while back... think it was the episode with the Mazda RX8.

You're dead right! That's the one I was trying to remember.

I was surprised to hear it actually, at first, but then I realise that the music on Top Gear is always great and diverse.

Some might recognise what's used in this here, the soundtrack for a stealthy animation I'm helping someone out with.

Bonus points for anyone who recognises the tracks!

I think I recognize some pieces used in the training level of SCDA 360.

I've heard the ticking noise found in the CIA HQ track before, as well as other aspects of SC1's soundtrack. Probably in public domain.

And I think Amon Tobin used a sample of his previous work for the Kokubo Sosho fight theme.

I was watching an episode of True Blood a few weeks ago, and they had alarms that went off. And these Alarms sounded exactly like the ones in PT. I had major goosebumps after that.

i heard scct soundtrack on top gear, a few times but they often use soundtracks off of films and games...
does any 1 els rly like the scda sound track some of that guitar music is sweet...

We got a bit of the Bath House theme in there, or as it's called in the SC:CT Soundtrack: "The Clean Up". I'm pretty sure.

And to help out McFisher9257, it's the track used in the CT training vids, with Mr. Ironside narrating. Those are legendary.

Hmm. I don't know. It sounds familiar, but I can't place it. Is it from the end credits of the first SC, or maybe a remix of the gameplay or promo music?

I sing baritone, and I'm a violinist. I have a lot of appreciation for the music in the games I play.

Aye, "Training" is in there and a small little snippet of "The Clean Up".

Hopefully he'll need another few minutes and I can stuff another Amon Tobin track into the mix

As for the first track, I'll give you a clue....

It's from another major stealth franchise, one that's pretty obvious if you look at the animated movie
