Do you still think that sam will still be able to do his classic moves like split jump, rolling, hanging on bars etc. Because I havent seen any in the videos.
He can still press up against a wall and peek out to see if anyone is around the corner, that's been confirmed... he can still crouch if anyone was wondering, even when not under a table. :P
I think they will reintroduce the SWAT move in Conviction, I think it makes alot of sense in that kind of gameplay.
The walking looked kinda weird... the position of his hands when not holding something for instance, hope they'll fix... Also want all old-fashon SC moves, but I'll wait and see...
Oh, and remember... I do make stuff up
Windows Vista® Home Premium, Intel® Core™2 Quad processor Q6600, 3GB DDR II RAM (2x 1GB,2x 512MB), 1TB (2x 500GB), DVD-RW Multi Double Layer, NVIDIA® GeForce® 8600GT 256MB/1024MB DDR3 TGM DVI/VGA/HDTV + 128 MB AGEIA PhysX processor PCI, 18-in-1 card reader, FireWire, Lan 10/100/1000
There are going to be so many new things you can do, you wont mind that you might not be able to do the 'classic' moves.
Come on...throwing a mouse mat in a gaurds face is a much better distraction than whistling ever was!
Shoot Sharp, Not Pretty. Myth - The deciding factor in combat is firepower. Reality - Trading firepower for mobility increases life expectancy in combat. Use every opportinity to attack your enemy from an unexpected direction. Slow is smooth, smooth is fast.
I actually have no idea what you just said. Are you agreeing with me? Or not?
Sure, Conviction will be different to the other Splinter Cell games - but how long before a series of games gets boring?
Ever seen the Bourne films? The hand-to-hand combat is excellent; and Conviction's fighting system has been compared to those films.

I highly doubt that Sam will still have the split jump or inverted neck break since a moderate level of darkness is required for those moves to be effective.
Originally posted by BBQ-Chicken: For the split jump thing, maybe he could do the split jump climb like from PT? Why wasn't that in CT btw?
I much prefer the splitjump style of CT, how he runs up the wall, it's much more realistic IMO. The thing I did like about PT splitjump was jumping again to get to higher places.

They sure are good movies, so I suppose it makes sense to change everything to make them similar. I mean, if one thing is good there isn't much point in having something different right? Basketball is great, so maybe baseball should start being more similar.
It's a joke! When you look at me like that, it's a joke.
I've nly seen one scene, so whys everyone hot under the collar? Can you imagine if for DA all we saw was the JBA stuff...I found that the most boring, I want to kil, kill, KILL!!!!!!! Nah, but seriously we cant build a discussion about the game yet with just the one mission to look at, all the new moves look awesome....nuf said.
But if ubi is taking away some of sams signature moves such as the split jump and the interrogation grab (mabey?), will they be able to make another great signature move?
