Shady

Please, wait until you play the game and see the sales results before you start saying it's failed.

This game has just as much potential to start its own revolution as the first game started a revolution.

Definitely agree..Although, if he means DA 360 failed, I sorta agree with that, it sure wasn't as kool as CT.

Speculation but so is the idea that this game will fail.

Only in the corporate world do dollars define whether a game is a success or a failure. Wink

I mentioned both corporate success and entertainment success.

As long as I don't have to pay for another beta-release like SCDA, for which I am still 100% sure was a Debug build because of the ***MUST CHECK***-error/assertion.

Yeah, seriously, wtf?

Not only did the grammar make that almost impossible to understand, but even what I could understand I wasn't able to understand. If you really think you can't be stealthy in a car then I challenge you to try running down a dual carriageway and see how easy it is to blend in

After reading the Splinter Cell books, I kinda wish the games were more like them... Like going prone in a snowy lendscape, needing to drive and scope out buildings before infiltrating them... actually going to third echelon for breifings etc. I think that would be the true essence of Splinter cell... I think that's what Conviction is leaning more towards. It's obviously not the same stealth. But it looks like it takes a lot more recon and skill to infiltrate buildings and complete objectives...

I think they left out a lot of the actual briefings and the like for some pretty obvious reasons. Whilst it works really well in a film or book, to actually play through it would get rather tedious. But when you think about it, they still have aspects of that with the cinematics between missions. Almost every game starts off with Lambert and the Fishster in the Third Echelon HQ having a chinwag about the basics of what the new threat is all about. Then he heads out and gets most of the rest of the information by radio through either Lambert of Grim. So, to be honest, it's all there already. Just done in a less liner format so that you can get right into the game. The reality of a military briefing is that they take hours of mulling over minute, seemingly useless pieces of information just in case some of it might come in useful at some point.

Trust me. I know
