I have been wondering if UBI is going to let McFarland make Splinter cell collectables and have them sold on Spawn.com? I would really like to start a collection of the Splinter Cell series aside from the games.

anything else I should know?

That's a good question! Smile

Unfortunately Ubisoft is producing the game only under license of Rubicon (which is Tom Clancy's company) and I think it will be difficult to get the ok from T.C. to create some collectables! Frown

It's a whole different story when it comes to Assassins Creed because that's not produced under license since Ubisoft created the Assassins Creed Franchise and is able to do with it, whatever they want! Smile

Yeah no joke but look what Vth_F_Smith said. I would love for them to come up with something though.

Dude, I espicially want one of those life size Sam's like they have at Ubi San Francisco! LOL Oh man that would be awesome.

But I agree I could always use more Sam swag...and maybe some Grim and Lambert swag.

Now that you mention it...if you place a 360 parallel to another 360 - they are almost looking like the CIA Mainframe from the 1st Splinter Cell! Smile

Coincidence? -> http://www.wnm-online.net/Memories.jpg Big Grin

Darn, I would say hey lets write a petition and stuff but from what I have seen they usually go no where Crying

How ever if they do decide to go that route they will have some one (NAMELY ME) ready to buy them. I was hoping they would. Like all great franchises you got to have collectable's. I am also all for the split jump between two 360's

I could go for some cool stuff... I probably shouldn't admit to this, but I've bought two of just about every Hellraiser thing on the face of the earth. I have to get two so I can open one...yeah. Cool

but a small discussion with T.C wouldn't hurt, would it? i mean look at the tons of revenue generated from selling mcfarlane collectibles. even halo is launching their own series. i think what they would be interested in would be the worldwide reception of the SC series should they be launched, but man look at the number of forum users here and u tell me there's not enough potential customers?
they should start with either double agent or conviction to tie-in with the game, followed by the past series if sales are good. maybe some poses can include split jump, back-to-wall shooting, neck grab, inverted snap...ooh i just want one dammit.

i even wouln't mind some props like the Goggles that light up. I was making a splinter cell costume I wired up an old PDA with a green film that can goes on my back Via velcro. I have a wet suit painted balck prop grenades with some air soft guns and a leg holster from ranger joe's for a halloween party coming up. now I am just trying to find some rubber to mimic the goggles that go straight to the face instead of having a piece that connects the two sepers modules like the military this way It would be all one piece instead of clipping in. (Hope that makes sense) I would be wiring those up too but I can't fint a good rubber that I can mold Frown Any help?

If the collectibles were Sam in his sneaking suit I'd probably get it. But if it'd be Sam in his Hobo outfit then I'll pass.
