I know wat ur thinkin, that i am just some other complainer about Splinter Cell Conviction, but I have a mistake that i need to point out to you guys. the first transition to Pandora tomorrow all you guys did was revolve around graphics, gameplay, storyline of the plot, and the AI. You did the same thing for Chaos Theory. And all those were Box-office off-the-charts hits! But when you guys decided to move the storyline from Sam Fisher The SPLINTER CELL to Sam Fisher, the sales took a nosedive. I mean you guys did a great job but you guys got off the point of playing the game...........
BEING A SPLINTER CELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
granted we all love sam fisher and his backround but we don't want his personal life to get way to attatched to the game! We want good old fashioned SPLINTER CELL. But all you guys need to do is get new equipment, new suits, maybe even a partner even though he works alone, AND THINK
SAM FiSHER THE SPLINTER CELL

Don't you think so too?

ya! i would love to play the same game over and over just with a new storyline and 1-2 new gadgets!

Hell no!!!

Double Agent is a great game. it was a bold and good decision of them making that game what it is. i love the hide in the dark and kill but its the same thing over and over and stealth isnt just about not being seen in the light... its about being unoticeable and undetected like in double agent when sam fisher worked as a double agent to take down the JBA! And Conviction offers a new breed of stealth that is superb! the game is amazing the choices they made to make these next 2 games were not a great choice, but a bold and a must. and i'm glad they made that choice of making something NEw. Welcome the same old Sam Fisher just in new stealth ways!!!

--inevitable08 (xbox 360 live gamertag-- will play Halo 3, Call of Duty 4, SC: Double Agent and Gears of War online and SC: Chaos Theory Co-Op)

------------
It was inevitable! Your death in life is inevitable its just a matter of time. I'll be right there!

THAT EXPLAINS:

Double Agent is a great game.

Also, how can you like Halo 3 and then say you don't like repetitiveness in sequels with the addition of graphics and equipment? Hypocrite :P

Maybe Ubisoft didnt have the ''Conviction'' to release the game, maybe it's caused a ''Splinter'' in the development ''Cell''.

His personal life can be in the story, for sure...
I just wouldn't like it if it was the same amount of Personal Life as in SCDA (PC). About his son dying..?

I think it's just not worth it to put so much "non-game" activicties in the game. Like between those missions JBA Headquarters, it's fun, for sure, just when I want to play missions, it sucks because I already know what to do...
25 minutes for the training course, which takes 5 minutes... Nothing to do besides that, because I haven't got any acces.

Keep up the graphics of SCDA (PC), make a better Multiplayer, and we want storyline like in SCCT... Maybe there should be more like... Missions that follow when something goes wrong. For example in SCCT you gotta stop a Nuke from reaching some country, not done, mission fail. It would be fun if it would actually be WW3, and that you have to try make things better again. If you get my point.

If you have a 360 you can play the xbox version but you need xbox live because you cant have the backward compatibility without xbox live. I just bought it I liked everything except the music its way too somber I know thats probably the point but I would prefer something like SCCTs. Also the xbox version is really hard I tried to sneak around without killing anybody and I ended up with the entire ship knocked out and 9 guys dead (Okhotsk level).

Well I know wat you guys mean by half and half on SCDA, which I liked, but wasn't even close to my splinter cell standards, but i did find the stealth good, and his personal life a little to dramatic, but I was ok with it. But Conviction, that's where I start to want to burn Shangi to the ground, because they started the mess, and then Montreal has to clean house while they made the box office hits.

Sam Fisher, and the Splinter Cell series, cannot just keep doing the same thing over and over as you'd get bored very, very quickly. Things need to change and evolve to give you the best experience you can whilst remaining true to the core pillars of the Splinter Cell series.

When you see Conviction again, I hope you won't be disappointed and you'll see that we remain true to these pillars.

Yes but why crowd stealth and not something that can blend with L&S when you made the change from PT to CT alot of things changed but the game remained with L&S. Why not do the same with this change instead of crowd stealth you could introduce some new mechanic that innovates and still make the game great and not boring but with some new mechanic.

Guys, there are several threads on this forum with serious and intelligent discussions about Splinter Cell Conviction, posting both positive and negative. The "club" and petition that you keep posting about only cause a negative undercurrent on these forums and will only make the forum stagnant. Feel free to join in with the discussions in a mature and intelligent fashion as there are no other options for voicing your concerns.

ERN456, there are many reasons why the gameplay has evolved and changed and the main one is to keep the gameplay experience interesting and fresh for the fans and gamers. Please wait until you see more in the coming months from Conviction on how it's changed, and maybe even once you've played it, before passing judgement too harsly.
