I think I'm on the last kill, the one at the funeral. Where the guy speaking spots you in crowd and everyone runs and then they start to attack. What am I doing wrong. Do I have to sit there and fight all of this guys. Seems impossible. Thanks for the help.

There are many ways. The easiest for me was to just keep attacking everyone until you are lucky enough to kill your target. If you focus on just that specific target then everyone else will kill you.

The archers there are the most annoying...jerks...in the game. I recommend alerting everyone at the funeral, then get them to chase you through the city to a predetermined location where you have a group of vigilantes waiting in ambush. Then, as the vigilantes distract the guards, you can kill 'em all! ^.^

That's exactly how I eventually killed him!

I had alot of trouble with this one...

What I ended up doing is killing the archers, then climbing up on top of something, and attacking as people climbed up.

I wasnt very graceful about this one. The first 2 times I did it I died horribly. Then the 3rd time I went as close to the archers as possible so they came down and started attacking with there swords. I than just Killed everyone til I got to the target.

My method was stand in one of the corners that you face at the funeral. The guards won't be able to attack you from behind and the archers will be able to shoot you less. Then it's just a case of heavy attacking and countering all the guards until you get to the target. Don't even bother about getting the archers unless you want the (i think there is one) achievement for killing loads of guards.

Yeah, a kabillion guards running at you alongside the target is a bit overwhelming. The first time I tried it I just sat there and fought them, but got owned by the archers. The second time I climbed up and pwnt the archers before taking on the guards, and I won.
My advice is to sling 'Robert' away from the fight as often as possible. 'He' hits hard and fast, so take 'him' out of the fight as quick as possible. Another good strategy is to immediately run to the Assassin's Bureau. the guards will follow in a trailing line, leaving you with some easy Combo Kill oppourtunities and quickly leave 'Robert' without guards. As an added bonus, you can then instantly drop into the Assassin's Bureau!

The easiest way to do it is when they attack you run in the streets towards the closest allied vigilantes. they will hold about half of your enemies and you can easily deal with the rest.
hidden blade counter-kills make for an easier target assassination. (take note on that about the final boss! )

i ran in and atacked them all till i hade about 2 left then i realised the archers had taken me down to about 3 bars so i franticly attacked them and killed the emplars quickly

It's a whole lot easier if you take out as many archers as you can -before- the fight. Then, as some of the others said, go get in a corner or near a wall somewhere. There's a scaffold to the north of the area- get some guards near it and then throw one in to make it collapse and kill as many in one shot as you can (if you didn't already know of this). Keep countering, and if you see you've knocked down 'Robert,' quickly switch the hidden blade and try to hit 'em for a quick finish.

I finally was able to kill this guy/girl. Thanks for your help.

lol, I just grabbed them and threw them to the ground, then just select the hidden blade and kill them. Or, just poke them with the blade at least, lol.

Hmmm... *spoilers* How come Altair clearly shanks Maria, but in the cutscene she's standing up without a scratch on her?

Archers are annoying, but for me they worked in my favor. Forgot to get rid of them and they started killing the Templars for me as they all swarmed around me.

In any case, I found a glitch that lets me pass through the wall and wait until my Sync was up to par and then I killed them one by one by luring them each into the glitch lol. Not very sportsmanship-like, but I was desperate, while I was fighting, I knew it wasn't de Sable, because of the girl's voice--I wanted to get the fight over with so I could find him.

Well, during one of the Informer missions the guy told me to run, since trying to kill him there is impossible, o that's what i did, i ran towards one of the vigilante "squads"(along with 20 guards)and i just killed them all over there! Pretty simple

You are going to get the alert there isnt much you can do about that. what i did was get out of range of the archers and dropped the glove against the templars. Besides thats nothing compared to what comes later. you will notice something about "robert" while fighting "him".

dont lock on to "him" just keep fighting it is possible and you kill "him" when ever it happens just keep countering. p.s. don't be a tool.

I died the first few times while doing this but I found an easier way. Once the battle starts, sprint towards the right and hide behind the trailer thing, This will force the guards to attack you 2 or 3 at a time instead. Also because you're so close together, most of the time the archers hit the guards instead!

Here is what i did...

Walk in, listen to speech, experience dismay at become exposed, lock onto targets, kill them all.
Did all you guys really have problems at this part? I just raped them all where they stood...
