I pre-ordered AC2 with my own money so im going to ask for Windows 7 for Christmas... if its compatible with AC2 that is !

Otherwise im just going to have to get shoddy Windows Vista. But it costs so damn much !! urgh !!!

I was actually talking about MW2. It's going to be extreemly popular and without a pre-order it will be very difficult to get a copy any time soon.

I wouldn't bet on it, there are very few games that don't produce enough standard copies. if it is hard to get a standard the publisher really needs to think about what they are doing as a standard copy of a game is easy to produce as there is no complex production.

BE BUYING ASSASSIN'S CREED 2 <== this is for the mods. love us !

(whichever edition we chose) and then how we could fit our budget's around that in order to buy upgrades for our machines/future games.

I suggest getting a couple bodyguards, some dogs, better alarm system (not like it will do any good ). If you're lucky you might be alive in the next hour.

"Eventually everyone will have the entire game," Desilets told Kotaku in a recent interview. "I made sure of that. Because I'm Canadian, I don't have the same shops as you do. So I wanted to make sure I could at least someday play everything in the game. Eventually there's going to be, okay, let's unlock everything."

it just means that if you ever want the "Full Game", you'll have to pay more. And possibly even more than you would have payed for the pre-order originally..

I just changed my order from PC to PS3 would rather play it on the PC but would rather not wait. however at the moment my pre order of black for PC is still in so if I don't get black for PS3 I will be waiting for the PC version.

I'll admit the fact that this game is made in Montreal (or is it UK? i know Ubi Montreal made ACI) and NA doesn't have a pc special edition does make me angry.

but seeing as how comments like that only make people angry i'll say this as well: I am about 80% sure that they'll release a specail edition for NA. why? because theres absolutely no reason not to do so.

I'm sure they will do this and then when this is over and ACII is released we'll all be happy but it still does make me stressed that its after the 2-month-before-release mark and theres no special edition for PC in NA.

the only options i have if they don't make it is buy a black edition for the UK and get a region-code compatible drive, or get a PS3 or Xbox emulator.

there was no special edition for AC1 on PC and there was on console so the delay doesn't mean you will get a special edition.

as for region coding PC games don't have any region restrictions, the only thing that may give a problem is the video DVD but there are hundreds of programs that can get round this problem.

as for talking about a Ps3/360 emulator while that is heavily linked to piracy, next to no PC's can actually run a PS2/Xbox at a decent level (and even then the title support is terrible) so it's going to be a long long time before this generation of console will ever be playable on a PC.
