I Thot Those Wer 2 Maps in Master Assassins Edition....Not Missions......... WTF ARE THEY?!?!?

They are all areas of the game where you can enter and loot. In them you can eventually find some kind of artifact that probably just gives you some kind of achievment/trophy and lets you show it off in the your "house" which is the online feature.

he never said there wasnt other sites selling it, he just said that austrailian site is the only place to do the hoody.

Guys, dont you think assassins creed 2 game is taking too long ? the first one was like 3 years ago and 8 month , omg i can say ,the creators is slacking around compared to the others, like rock band , first game came out 2007, next one 2008 , same with other games, second part of game should come every year, not every 4 years ! omg

Actually I think they are working pretty fast for a game of this scope. First they had to spend a lot of time collecting feedback from the fan base, then they had to brainstorm how to respond, then they do script writing, map programming(there are much bigger maps this time), character animations(which there are alot more of now), and too many other things for me to remember. But I don't mind wating until Nov. because that means ubi is working longer to make the game better.

well yes they are TECHNICALLY maps. But i called them mission just because the whole "world" that you play on could be considered as the 'map' and then these bonus areas would simply be new areas that you can get to. Sorry for the confusion.

im not trying to be funny and all that, but...

that's because those games are shi*
(i said "ship" for all who were wondering )

The graphics of those games are fairly shoddy. They didnt have to build the whole world again, they just got new skins for the characters. etc etc.

The developers of AC2 have spent AGES researching, designing, redesigning, modeling, coding, and all those other crazy things that they do, JUST to get the game as good as it can be for us.

so dont spread hate. be thankful that there IS a dedicated team out there, working their socks off in order to give us the best game possible, solely for us gamers.

firstly for console AC1 came out November 14, 2007. thats less than 2 years ago with the PC one only being released at the begining of 2008.

as for the every year game games as stated these games are crap, they are generaly the same game with a new skin.

EA the king of the 1 year game has even said 1 year is too short a time to make a game that is differant. this is why they have split most of thier teams for things like need for speed, so they still get one game a year but each team gets 2 years to work on a game.

but even so AC2 will come out prety much exactly 2 years after AC1 and that is still a damn short time period for the type of game and the changes it looks like they are making.

if u just get the basic version will it be possible to the buy the bonus missions afterwards through xbox live or something

I agree with c-swain. Ubi works long and hard to create a new age of games, with Assassin's Creed at the forefront. Creed has been recognized as a historical treasure by the academic community, and as a visual extravaganza by critics. Ubi has done things with this game that no one else came close to before Creed. Despite some potentially poor marketing (sorry, Ubi, still don't like how you did the versions), Ubisoft is otherwise just about flawless with the creation of Creed. The other games are shoddy in comparison. No other game is as realistic or as seamlessly done as Creed is.

Props, Ubisoft, props; just please fix the versions. Other than that, Assassin's Creed is still the leading inventive game series today. Props.

It looks good. Tight fit, the weird Abstergo logo in front. Don't know about that grey thing though. I think it's either a wing or those, uh, warpy line things.
I wonder if they'll release a view of the back.
(My brain isn't working too well at the moment, I'm sort of in a dazed mood. xD)

the "squiggly line" things are (i think) the new "memory strands" as it were. So like in AC1 you had the weird vertical lines with dots at each end, in AC2 i think you have this kind of tentacle-thing that is split in to small sections. Im guessing the sections will be each target or mission that you have to complete.

Those bars look like they twist into the new animus logo.

Hi everyone. Hi c-swain, can you say if the Limited Edition(I know, only the game) comeout in Steam? Because I'm from Brazil and.. things like that don't "arrive" here. Not even the Standart Edition.

no the limited edition wont be released on steam. most of special editions such as the ones for AC2 include alot of physical objects stopping steam from selling them since they are a download only service.
