everyone in Australia should get black edition. november is a big month for me im spending nearly 2 and a half grand on a new LCD, MW2 XBOX 360 console and black edition. go big i say, i think it will be totally worth it. AC was a great game and no matter what i think AC2 will be way better.

I'm confused. It says on the front page that the Master Assassins Edition is not limited, but everywhere around different boards I hear there are no more left. Can I get some clarification please?

i think youre talking about the black edition? the black ed. is extremely limited and already pretty much sold out i think. the MAE isnt limited. if you doubt it and you are planning on getting it (if you still can pre order it) call ur gamestop and ask them

I was just checking out a Best Buy add and its announcing that in the US if you preorder AC II you get the exclusive Shipyard code.....no special edition. Not sure if anyone has posted this yet thought. Would post it

What? Are you crazy? I'm still buying, I just don't understand the reasoning of the two editions.

I don't think MA and Black editions are rip-offs. I mean, $20 more for an artbook, a figure, bonus maps, DVD and soundtrack? And some sick packaging Why not? Especially if any one of these additions can go for $30+ each.

It's quite a good deal actually.

Unless of course you're not interested it collectibles. In that case, just get the regular edition and buy the maps when thet become available online.

And Master Assassin Edition for me! I have a spot on my desk with sticky saying "Reserved for Ezio. Coming 17th Nov".

I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about the figurines themselves. Black has the MA Ezio, while the MA edition has regular! Ticks me off in a way...

As far as I'm aware the Master Assassin edition isn't the same as the Black Edition.

What really sucks is that my brother was going to pre-order the game for me on PS3 as a gift for my birthday today. I have been so preoccupied with work that I didn't realize it was too late for the Master Assassin's Edition.. Now I'll never get it. Well at least with working codes... It won't be a happy 27th for sure But all of you that have it cherish it always and have fun. I wish you the best friends!

All version of black are sold out on play.com now, they have said they will be able to fill every order that has been placed.

so if you have a order on play.com you should get it.

if you haven't placed an order yet and you wanted black, your out of luck, as due to it being limited edition they will not be restocking it.

I made this comment on Moddb to address the PC version delay:

they could've just delayed the all the versions till december and plus whats the difference between all the versions besides the controls? knowing how much ubisoft is ticking off the PC users the PC version will probably be released on a monday. i can imagine them

"hmmmm how can we tick off the PC users even more? we delayed the release for 4 months which will cause almost certain spoilers..."

Just to add to this: i'm sure they'll take info from xbox and ps3 users complaints and improve the PC version because if theres one thing Ubisoft is good at it's listening to their fans so in a way anyone here who got the game for xbox or PS3 your my lab rat :P

also in comparison with the first game the only similarities is they both involve assassin's and they both have Desmond but other than that they're totally different. AC2 is gonna be GOTY hands down. its only real competitor is MW2 which involves no vehicles because they wanted realism and a guy in a vehicle with a machine gun is unrealistic and of course space battles.

the movie "Inglorious Basterds" was more realistic to history than MW2 is.
