yeah its pretty cool and i noticed that as well but punctuation is appreciated because its hard to tell when one sentence ends and another begins ezio is a hottie cats have claws see how that works
Roll Eyes

But anyway, I was a little puzzled as to why the much-older ancestor looks exactly like desmond while the more recent ancestor does not.

Dominant and recessive genes and all that, it's all quite random whether you'll look like someone or not.

But Ezio looks similar to both other Character's, just has more angled features (very italiano)

I assume the real Altair looked nothing like the Animus version, just as they definitely did not sound anything alike. Perhaps oneday we'll get to see the 'real' Altair, probably after synchronzation and art design have been improved.

I think it's because the animus 2.0 offers much more synchronization...Judgeqwerty, are you the qwerty from fanfiction?

you do know how common the name qwerty is don't you? since it is the first few letters on the keyboard. it is also a common password that goes hand in hand with the people stupid enough to use "password" as a password Shady

Im pretty sure Altair has a tiny bit different cheekbones but maybe not.

Anyway, I bet they do have the same face and it just depends on the age Ezio is.

I doubt that the developers were going this deep but i had breeding a little theorie. Maybe Altair didn't know his face well by a lack of mirrors in his inviroment. So the animus used desmond as a default face. Ezio, who is from a rich family and a later moment in history, can afford himself a mirror.

Actually, my name is a reference to Cormac McCarthy's Blood Meridian, where the villain is called simply the Judge for most of the book and his 'real' name is only a placeholder for WHAT he is. I just used Qwerty instead since its exceptionally common and descriptionless.

Wow, that actually makes sense :|
But.. when were mirrors 'invented' :P *Goes and finds somewhat 'interesting' info on Wikipedia?

The timeperiod is extremely close to that of AC2, which takes place from 1476-1503. AND that mirrors were extremely expensive xd, well what a coincidence Smile

But the first kind of mirrors was, of course, water. And though there were some water pools in AC1, they were pretty rare, and probably not as clear as the glass/metal mirrors.

Also, I heard (dunno where,..) that in AC1, the Animus gives the predecessor the same face as the descendant, because of the external factors that could've taken place. So why doesn't Ezio have exactly the same face of Desmond.. and voice? Voice isn't written in genes..

Actually, they're two different voice actors... Desmond's voice actor also plays Abbas (The combat instructor who greets you at the fortress and explains the Leap of Faith to you), so you know he can actually do a convincing Middle Eastern accent. Altair's voice actor only plays Altair... which means they cast him just to use that moronic North American accent for a single role, THE role. WHY?!!
