Well as you can see there is also a carriage and lots of woods on those walls, and they didn't climb by themselves

also on the ramp being too long and a lack of space have you never thought they could run parallel to the wall meaning they are only coming off the wall maybe a road's width and the assumption that they only used ladders and stair cases to get on the wall is quite bad as well considering if the city was to come under siege they would struggle to mobilise high numbers of archers/troops to the walls.

Not at all. Stairs can be steeper at the same capacity as slopes. Plus the added benefit that they can be placed within towers and the likes. Speaking of towers, how would a horse get past one of those?
And cranes are a lot more efficient than ramps, so it'd make no sense to use a ramp instead.

Not doubting that that screenshot is from a wall anymore btw, it's just... weird.

on a wall that is made as wide it is designed to be used as a path way to a large number of troop's so if they have to cram in to get through a tower it defeats the object of such a wide road, the towers are normally built off centre to allow the main road to still be used or in the small minority were the towers were built directly on top of the wall they would have large arches built in to allow troops and other things through.

ummmm not to "dwell" on the subject but will there be other people riding horses between cities and in the Italian country side or will the player mainly be the only one riding horses like in AC1?

will be interesting if there are other people on horse, more so if they have guards on them as it could lead to some interesting fights.

Like has been said there is Horse and Cart, Swimming, Gondola, Horses, Ships and the Handglider!

At least there is more variety!
