There are no games that run in native 1080p at the moment that aren't PSN/XBLA games or smaller games like Katamari Forever.

I doubt this game will run natively at 1080p, not even the original did.

It will probably upscale like all games, but those of us with 1080p screens will see the projected and enlarged jaggies

gran tourismo 5 can run at 2160p (damn tech demos that are totally pointless) so the PS3 is capable it's just a case of the developers doing the code properly.

There was an interview that confirmed 1080p for PS3 and 720p for 360 but the 360 upscales all games to 1080p anyway.

Ok... You sure dont know much about the PS3 man, not to mention that caswallawn2k7 is right about the 2160p dev demo but here are a couple of games that run NATIVELY at 1080pon the PS3:

Dead Space
Gran Torismo 5
Lair
Metal Gear Solid 4
Pirates of the Caribbean
Prince of Persia
007 Quantum of Solace

These are just a few that I have and there are about 83 others...

The 360 has nothing to compare to this and upscaling makes games look weird and pixelated!

Oh, and this thread needs to be closed. There are at least 3 different topics in which this subject has been discussed, and none of the PS3 fanboys could give me definite proof.
And apart from caswallan, all of you are just uninformed PS3 fanboys, who don't care how powerful the PS3 is or how good its games are, you only care about it being better than the Xbox 360.

his post started pretty well, then he decided to put the 360 down and start ANOTHER console war thread. The graphics will be amazing either way. I just wonder about the PC graphics.

Hmm...I've seemed to have lost count on how many graphics console wars have started in the past week. Probably 4 or so... I would say for now...consider any digital remark a "rumor" until the final product or developer confirmation is provided. There have been many misleadings before on both Playstation and Xbox that were not corrected until the last minutes on numerous amounts of games. Once again I do not believe graphics to be the full armada of a game's reputation but rather the story and game functionality instead of how sparkly it appears. If I were to purchase Pac Man in 1080p that doesn't mean I'm going to be entrathled as well as Assassin's Creed II...as long as there is a presence of a core game with dynamics that set it apart from the average game it is sure to be a successful game.
