The illusion of purity and the actual purity itself don't, necessarily go hand in hand. Just look at how many women still get married in a white dress even in spite of being a right auld slapper.

Altaïr, on the other hand, wears white so he can blend with the Scholars. So I think making it black gives him more of a "hide in the shadows" kind of vibe. Which is more my style. Now serious Styla, please, send me the file. And I will be your friend forever if you can do one in pink for me

Good work, but I still say nay to Alty in black... and yeah, keeping the sash red would have been a good idea.

I'd have to say that the main reason it doesn't work in black is because of what I said above. If we were able to make use of shadows and cover then black would make a lot more sense.

i agree bob, the cities are always sunny and it wouldnt be right if Altair was in black.
it would also draw attention to him a lot more quicker if he was in black.
black is a suspicious colour
