I'm getting a Ps3 soon and am not surewhich one to start off with, this is what i have so far...

Assassin's Creed-
PROS- graphics, fun assassin theme

CONS- missions, repetative

Oblivion-
PROS- many choices, more realistic, an actual RPG

CONS- bugs in system, vampire glitch.

Which one do you think i should get.......... Thumbs Up

I have both and they are both gathering dust. Neither lasted me a week. But Assassin's Creed was WAY better than Oblivion.

I found Oblivion much more fun. It has better longevity, graphics, depth and is just a lot more fun than AC.

PS what is the vampire glitch?

there's a number of vampire glitches, only one i've suffered from is ending up having a female character with a male face.

assassins creed is great if you want a short blast, but oblivion picks up slowly and will last you much longer.

I love both games.
But I prefer Oblivion.
I played AC twice but right now I`m playing Oblivion for the 5th time.
And Oblivion still isn`t boring.

And I don`t think I will play AC again soon.

Btw. I didnt had any major glitches or bugs in Oblivion.
Nothing that really matters.

ive just started Oblivion again over the summer after about a one-year break. It's like the Sims and Roller Coaster Tycoon, suddenly you'll just get this urge to play it lol

uhh ive got one question though, how is Oblivion more realistic? I didn't know there were cat-people and Daedric lords in Earth's past

I own both as well, and I think I like Assassins Creed better.I MADE Assassins Creed last me a long time, thats why i dont think its short...instead of doing missions for a long time, i just ran around the city and making my own movie out of it Mean Happy But when i did finish the story line there was nothing to really look forward to except accomplishing achievments on my 360(eventhough ur getting a ps3)

And as for Oblivion...It takes a while to actually start liking the gameplay.IT starts out a little slow and your VERY weak when you begin and it can get annoying when you want to go into a cool dungeon but you cant because you are held back by your level Frown . But once you get farther into the game it offers LOADS of gameplay. If you really want to have fun with the game join the dark brotherhood Wink

There is my two cents on the whole situation lol

just realised i never really posted my opinion lol

id say Assassin's Creed is good if you want a good game to play but don't wanna get too in-depth. Oblivion is good if you want a game that'll keep you going for 100's of hours and has alot of different ways to play it

the multiplayer patch is a bit patchy like the multi theft auto patches that got made for GTA3 to san andreas they do work but you need to conect by direct IP adresses so it is dodgy if your ISP uses dynamic IP's or you are behind a router.

Thats just one of "hundred" ways to beat the game...

@spazzoo: Why is that cheating? The game gives you that possibility, when you are a magician.
I never did it, because it would be too easy then.

Hahaha, how is Oblivion more realistic? You have missions in Oblivion, and Oblivion is also repetitive.
