Ok, people have been discussing about what the next game is going to be about. Alot of people say its going to be about a ninja, but I think it will stay in the crusades time because since its called assassins Creed 2 and at the beginning of the game the Hashashins had a creed which was there law so I really think there going to stick with the crusades. Just a thought but we will have to see.

Its just the end of the game pretty much makes it obvious that it is going to be based in Japan because of all the jappenese writing

Well how do u know its japanese it could be writing from the crusades because they did have writing like that back then too.

yea i dont see how they could possibly link it to japan. although, i havent beaten it. idk we'll see.

If you conclude the graphics on the floor to be clues there's the possibility of it being set in Egypt (3 Pyramids) - South America (Mayan Calender ref) - Peru (Nazca Lines) - or in Japan (Mnt. Fuji).

I think any of these places would be an excellent location for a sequal.

Perhaps theyl go all futuristic on AC2

im pretty sure that is arabic on the wall... and yes there are those locations somone said... but i think they are just locations of those pieces of eden... and all the assassins descendants are of muslim origins right? so the writing on the wall would have to be in arabic....

i think ac2 will be more in the future so you could finally put an end to the war...ya know... it would make sense...

I read an article on AC2 and AC3 I dont remember the link it was the producers talking about how the hints at the end point to Peru and Japan Peru for the Mayans and Japan for the attempt on one of the old emporers AC2 said Japan and AC3 said Peru and according to the article AC3 you get to use Desmond <3

Well they are looking for multiple artifacts and Lucy does mention some kinds of traps so they may make him look there for that purpose.

well yeah thats true... imo i dont think they should change the main character if they intend too... it would be like playing halo without master chief... i mean i have already come to associate assassins with altair...

Yea thats true but as far back as history goes there has been many assassin sects across the world. Tho it does mean Desmond's ancestors were whores having Arabic Japanese European and god knows what else in him xD

it could be like altair had a kid with someone from europe... who went to japan and got some whore pregnant and the child went back to the middle east and had a child with someone and the line went on... i guess it could happen...

Ther are many ways this game can turn. Remember these key points at the end.

-They need Desmond to help find any artifacts until they retrieve the actual Piece of Eden.

-Altiar's future is yet to be determined. But we can assume he will return (too much Character development to drop him now). He more than likley will become the new leader of the assassins and will be the only link to the remaining artifacts as well as the whereabouts of it.

-The markings on the wall are simply in different languages and scribes of the end of the world details.

-If Desmond has become fully synced with Altiar his ancestor it is possible like his Eagle Eye he may obtain other abilities which may eventually lead to becoming a modern day assassin (Possibly because he's not physically trained to be one).

Overal I think we havent seen the last of Altiar and we may be looking at world travel next game on both ends. Astrego is world wide so im sure they have Animus programs all over the world to help move to story. As far as Japan, it can be anywhere or including Japan. But it don't matter to me just deliver a good Sequal. The only thing I ask is add Variety, if I have to kill another 9 guys without anything changing dramatically (Please review the ending memory combat and boss fight as an example) im gonna be not happy. But I love the game none the less.

if this globe trotting sequel is true, how will they keep it free roaming and open world... unless you go to an airport and it gives you a menu like when you exit Masyaf on where you want to go.

But still, by the time the sequel/2nd sequel comes out we may well have a more advanced console with unforeseen power... yep technology is moving fast.
