ok I have 2 problems with the game first of all it runs well, but after I launch the game I dont see anything all is just black, but I can hear the game sounds and music.
and the second problem is that I cant install the patch 1.02 it says "Could not retrieve version number" the error that pops up during the update process... PC description: 2gb ram 256 Mb Video Card Ati Radeon X700 Windows XP Directx 9.0c updated... intel 3.2Ghz not dual core |

The x700 is way below the required level for the game. You need at least an x1650 or later for the Shader 3.0 support

can it work on a 128mb GeForce 6150SE nForce 430??
sorry I didnt see the Assassin's Creed Community Help and Advice |

Well, it does offer shader 3.0 support, but Creed is an extremely system intensive game, so I'd say it would in theory, but only on very, very low settings

That onboard video chip, although shader 3, is actually less powerful than your X700, and to make things worse, it steals system ram to use as video ram. you'd be better off getting a decent shader 3 video card and fitting that. Hence the 'would in theory' comment. I, as always, suggest the x1650 Pro, 512mb

If you have a large paging file it should pick up some of the slack as well. Having a large file seems to have made a huge difference for me
