Several videos and articles have revealed the fact that the game takes place over 40 years. Starting from the day Ezio is Born.

Now in the 1500's life expectancy was only 60-70 years old. And most people had their children in their 20's to 30's. Now common sense tells us that at some point Ezio is going to have a child.

Do you think Assassin's Creed 2 will feature a love interest along with a baby being born? Or do you think they'll leave the baby part out and just say it happened after the events of the game?

I personally would think it a neat touch if in, the later parts of the game you have a child. And then have him age a year or two in the last chapter.

That would be rather interesting and possibly a good ending of the memorys with him having his son and vowing to like pass on the creed then going back to desmond and the acual end of the game or something.

well since one review said something about interactively kissing a girl and taking off her clothes im sure its possible...

Technically, since it is genetic memory and subject 16 is a distant relative of desmonds, we may get to see Ezio getting with a woman and having a child while he's younger...but he has Desmond's ancestor later on.

Hell, we might not even get to see since he flirted allot and could've had children that he didn't know about

Well it's not something impossible...would be interesting if an early interaction could affect something later on in the game such as a child.

Ohhhh the plot it thickens....

They have confirmed that besides the girl at the beginning, there are "women" or possible love interests. Obviously Ezio has a child, it's unknown if it'll happen in the game. That would be cool.

Question is how many children will Ezio have and when in the game... It's obvious that, unless Desmond if pulled out of the Animus before hand, He will witness Ezio and his wife/girlfriend/love interest conceive his next ancestor

Thus ending the chain of memories from Ezio xD

There's a problem with that theory though. As soon as the child is conceived, all of Ezio's genetic codes (memories) stop at that exact point (unless he had 2 kids). A child cannot recieve memories or codes from the parent after it is conceived, because those memories haven't occured yet. So, if we were to take this logicaly, we would never actually see Ezio's child being born, because the memories of it's birth are not in it's DNA or Genetic codes w/e.

Unless he had multiple children over the years who were not the ancestor of Desmond. For all we know his next ancestor could be female. And the only way to witness the birth is to actually start from that Ancestors genetic memory.

I guess that would be cool. I'm just worried about what my parents will think when I have to do that interactive scene of kissing and undressing that girl... I hope it will go no further than that... :S
