Ok so the Assassins name is Aquilus and aparently he hes been a not so sneeky assassin since they seam to know some of his dirty little secrets.

i would liek them to make a game with this era tho, sweet sweet

I think this might actually be an indicator that it won't be set during the Roman empire. They'd probably try to conceal the story until they were ready to start building hype for the 3rd game. This is most likely just to flesh our the history of the assassins.

Or she said something to that effect at least, so if they're not fighting the templars, who are they fighting?

Not sure if she was reffering to the whole Pie vs. Cake ordeal or just that little betrayal by Al Mualim.

Actually, I think there’s a pretty good chance of AC III being set in Ancient Rome. *crosses fingers*

First of all, it has been mentioned countless times here at the forum as a wonderful age for the game, because of the mythology, architecture, the massive amount of possible assassination targets…

And second, if the Ubi team went to Italy to do research for AC II, they could have done some on the Roman Empire as well, while they were at it.

Ubi, please, set the third game in Ancient Rome! Pleeeease! With sugar on top!
