Before the flaming starts, bear with me on this. If you are a console player, move on - nothing to see here. Don't attempt to de-rail or hijack this thread please Smile

I'd be interested to hear from those of you who play AC on the PC and what your PC specs are. In particular, I'm looking for what Graphics Cards you have, CPU's, Motherboards, sound cards, RAM and PSU's too if you know. We can tell you how to find out what you have if you don't know but would like to contribute to the thread.

Do you have a high end gaming PC?
Do you have a PC that copes OK with AC?
Does your PC struggle to run AC?

Why am I asking? Confused

... Well, it should be fairly obvious given what is just beyond the horizon. I'm trying to get an idea of the 'average' PC of the AC Player - This will be fed back to Ubi and hopefully we'll get an idea of what level of PC spec will be required to run AC2.

Thanks for your co-operation Thumbs Up

Only right I start us off. If you could follow a similar format I would be grateful Smile

My gaming PC:

ASUS P5-K Premium Motherboard
Intel Quad Q6600 (Arctic Cooling fan cooled)
8800GTS 640mb Graphics Card
X-FI Extreme Gamer Sound Card
2 gb OCZ PC 8500 Reaper RAM (2x1 gb Slots)
Hiper 530watt PSU

At which point did you decide you might flame this? When you read the thread title?

Besides, Ubi want to know what we got in our PC's. I expect your full co-operation Twisted

We're not trying to catch any one out - Only want to know the fundamental hardware Cas, that's all.

Put it this way, if we tell Ubi, I have it on good authority we might well find out what hardware is being used to develop and test AC2

*But you never heard that from me, OK?*

it's just the entire of my system is overclocked and that is bad in 99% of cases. but anyway heres the list.

Nforce 520 Socket AM2 Mother board
AMD X64 5200 X2 (3Ghz)
8800GT 256mb [1.5gb shared] (speeds 720, 1050, 1800)
Asus D2X PCIe Sound Card
4gb DDR2 800Mhz [running 1Ghz] (4x1gb cards)
Thermal take tough power 750watt PSU
Windows Vista Ultimate X64

rember kids overclocking is bad unless you swap out all the cooling

Click Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Information

Should have most of what you need right there.

Board: Gigabyte Technology Smash(Lulz I know)
NVIDIA GeForce 6600 GT Smash(more lulz)
SB Live! Smash
2gb RAM

I have no right to be playing this game at all, my computer shouldn't be able to, but believe it or not, at the lowest graphics settings and lowest resolution, it's got a decent framerate.

Looks like poo, but playable. Veryhappy

Nvidia GTX 260 graphics card (overclocked)

onlive is a joke, at launch it is only going to be in america and so far it has only been tried on internal networks using about 300mbs-1gbs, probly over 90% of internet connections will be totaly useless for onlive.

Couldn't agree more with you, Cas.

This thread is intended to give Atmon and the AC2 developers a glimpse of the specs of current PC rigs of the community that are awaiting AC2.

I've seen various Ubi title launches and the inevitable 'This game sux!' / 'This game is so buggy' rants,as I'm sure many of us have seen.

Often, as many of us know, when you delve a little deeper, quite often it's the players PC that isn't up to the job and not the game itself at fault.

Whilst it's not comprehensive by any means, neither will it ever be, hopefully this thread will go some way in allowing Atmon understand the spec people have and to feed that back Smile
