I can't believe your making a big deal about the "swimming" part.. What's the big deal, the game looks great.

Some of us find it interesting and different from all the other discussions. If you don't like it, you don't have to be a part of it.

Everyone that has replied, including myself, has made a bigger deal than he has. It was his first and so far only post. He either was bored and wanted to try and show off a bit of knowledge or just wanted to be noticed Wink

welcome to the forums OP Wink

Hey hey hey now! If it's in Assassins Creed 2, me as a fan shall discuss it!

even if it is just swimming...

But wow, you learn something new every day they say. Maybe it's just because it's a faster way of swimming and Ezio cares more about speed than what people think when they see him doing it?

Maybe it's just the way he was taught, i mean like some people have said already it can't have been the one guy to come up with swimming like that.
And for all we know Giovanni may have been taught to swim like that and therefore taught Ezio the same way Smile

I may have over thought this.....

I'm pretty sure that the 'front crawl' existed in some capacity before it was named and used in competition for the first time.

But as someone has already said, most people will not care/notice even if the OP happens to be true.

Ezio invented swimming. That's why he has that huge villa. The money he made from teaching.

When you first go in water the first thing you naturally do is the doggy paddle which is similar to the front crawl.

So would you rather have us not complain about Altair not being able to swim, and as a result have an Assassin's Creed sequel that wouldn't have any swimming in it? Wink

Complaining: It gets crap done.
