I am doing this for someone as they can't access the forum at all. no matter what they do, the forum can't come up. it's been a week.

this is what they get when they try accessing the forum:

And its says ""Syntax Error"

any thoughts anyone?

How have you tried getting them into the forum?

A specific link to the main page?
Or to the main Eve page?

Try linking them directly to a thread, and see what comes up.

i sent them the address. and they still could not access the forum.

is there another way?

syntax error usually implies that there's incorrect or incompatible with a code or expression... try whacking all the buttons on a scientific calculator and press equals.

that being said it could be a number of things. it's be a lot easier knowing his operating system, browser, plugins etc.

Is this error occurring after an attempt at log in, or even just trying to visit without being logged in?

i dont know. all they said was that they click on the link i posted and syntax error comes up.

It may be browser/cookie related, it's happened to me a few times over the years, sometimes clearing the cookies works, other times getting into the forums via the Ubi.com home page has worked, usually, once you do manage to get in, the problem seems to go away.
