Lol. The humor (or lack of) in this forum amuses me as much the game. Wakka wakka.

well, Desmond doesn't eat and stuff. Neither does Altair though. i don't think those are the kind of activities the game was about. on the oher hand, i guess with such realistic graphics and lots of different character reactions and whatnot, it kinda raises to bar for everything else in the game and makes some things seem a little weird. or lack of things in this case.

but sorta like i said in the post about not enough different npc models (cleverly titled "worst npcs in a game ever?" *rolls eyes*)...where does it stop? he already scratches himself and blinks and all this other stuff, so i feel like they've put in enough details to satisfy most people.

back to the topic though...that still doesn't make him gay :P and if he is, then, whatever.

Altaïr does spend some time resting in the various bureaux throughout the game. I don't think it's too much of a stretch to say he eats and drinks during those gaps. Still, I think it would be kind of cool to have him need to stop for refreshments (at drinking wells) if he's been running around a lot. Like after a prolonged chase or something. That would add a really nice touch of realism to the game without spoiling the flow imo

speaking of realism: why do the priests in acre talk about having sons? they are supposedly celibate. they'd be defrocked if church found that business.

yea, it's a shame i can't have altair drink some water in the game.

Actually, the celibate thing is a more recent addition to the ecclesiastical circles. Whilst it was always suggested, it was never really enforced until about three hundred years ago

Again, even that's rather subjective. I don't think any of the main branches of Christianity made it absolute. But yeah, I'd say they enforced it. Though interestingly, they're now the laxest about enforcing it. Weird how it turns out some times

Which, I believe, is as it should be. Sex is a basic part of Human nature, whether you want to admit it or not. And I have no doubt in my mind that any Gods that may be would want us to engage and perpetuate our species as much as possible. More sex = more worshipers

Arguably as many as even nine billion. And even those of us who "worship" only pay lip service out of habit. Myself for example. I'm a religious person, but I don't worship any of my "Gods". Why should I? They don't worship me

I'd be inclined to believe that they exist. In some form or other. It really depends how you quantify existence. Does the fact that they have been written and spoken about qualify as existence? I mean, Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader exist in a very real way to a lot of people, even though they're fictional

off topic there for a sec.

in terms of desmond: i agree with you. he has more weighty things to think about than sex with whoever... i get a feeling he really wants to get out of there.

I also get the feeling he starts to look on Lucy more like a younger sister. Especially after she admits to being effectively a prisoner there as well. But he does look at her boobs at one point towards the end so...

When she implies that she's an assassin. The camera focused on her chest for a moment. Could just have been on my game, but it seemed like she was indicating something specific. A necklace perhaps? Sods law, but I looked away just as it happened and only caught a glimpse as I looked back. I did spend a little time fiddling with the camera to see if there was something there, but all I saw was boobs (not that that's a bad thing).

And what's wrong with being a perv?
