Ok...
So, I set two waypoints for some GAZ AA's close to one another. Set the delay so they wouldn't move for a long, long time. Was not having a problem with any of them moving prematurely. Now, suddenly, all are moving regardless of the delay. Bug? The only thing I can think of that I did was to move a couple chiefs to another portion of the battlefield and that might have generated an error but beyond that, I dunno. |

when you want a vehicle/convoy to WAIt at a certain WayPoint...you must set the delay time at the previous WP.
so for a delay start....just have two WP right after each other...and it will move to the second and stop there if you set a time-out on the first WP ..<< "99.99% of the world's population believe in luck.... because they do not know the natural laws of Karma and Re-Birth" - Fabian Frederick Blandford 1952 - 20?? >>.. So essentially, there is no way to prevent them from moving that initial ten feet or so? I could've sworn I thought they weren't moving initially...hmmmm....
Thanks though. This message has been edited. Last edited by: ElCircoKrone, |

I thought I'd worked this out, just like fabianfred says, the delay actually happens at the NEXT WP (surely this could have been fixed by now or at least the manual could have been changed to reflect the reality?) 99% of the time that's how it works, but the other day I was watching a test run of a mission and some tanks actually stopped at the point I'd told them to and some others went 2 WPs beyond the one with the delay before stopping.
