Yes it does, check out the help!
To me at least, it is the most useful il2 scenery program up to now. Smile

You can build a detailed airfield within minutes without even going into FMB... Thumbs Up

I'm having a bit of trouble trying to set objects. For some reason anything i set the coordinates are way off map.
The objects are going in and are showing on .mis file but way way off map.

Using Ardennes map testing.I tried placing around Eindhoven and these are the grid references the are placed.

800076.60 265025.10 approx

But the actual Approx reference is

8154.61 37423.31

Any ideas?

Yes, I had the same problem, and Tigger solved me. I quote myself from M4T thread:

There might be a little problem with the program. To see if it function well, start QOT (quick object tool) select from the map box Ardennen, selct from the Square grid A1 and you'll see an airfield screenshot appearing. Click with the mouse in the left bottom corner of the screenshot and if you see x-coordinate around 7000 and y-coordinate baout 2200 everything is OK. If you see the x- and y- coordinates much bigger say 220000 etc close the prog, go to control panel, regional and language settings, Customize and set the decimal symbol to "," and the digit grouping to ".". So the sample number you see should be "123.456.789,00". Now it will work.

Good you fixed it Kapt Smile

Another thing: it is possible to add more map grid areas. For example if I want a zoomed area away from airfields or if I want to have a better zoom of the airfields! Just look at different text and image files in the QOT and you'll figure it out. It's really nice that we can expand both the module database and the map database! Cool

I think the way to go is to build a very large number of modules in order to avoid the feeling of repetition. Also smartly designed modules of smaller sizes which you can easily combine can help there...

Just some shots showing how nicely it works
First shot: airfield done in about 20 minutes:

Second shot is just showing a bunch of modules I made lately. The modules are pretty simple and smal such that I can if I want combine them without much afterwork.

Tigger,
So far, so good. Followed your instructions:
quote:
Open your Install and then "Daten" and then "Optionen.txt" and delete in this file this: "D:\Spiele\IL2FB\Missions\Net\coop\Test\"

So you must have after that only this:
LetzteMisDatei=
Sprache=English

Now I can import a mission. Big Grin

Kapt_A,
I also followed your instructions:
quote:
I was getting the runtime error too. What it was is before you tick the green cross to add marker, tick a location on the map so you have a yellow dot showing, then tick to add marker and then you have your red icon in that location to get you started.

I was able to get my markers and it said that it placed objects.
Now I was using a rather large portion of the Burma map and when the module was placed I could not see it so was unable to tell if it was rotated correctly. When I clicked the "Zoom" button the map didn't 'zoom'.
I saved using the same name but when I opened the .mis file the objects were not there. Sad Eyes Could that be related to lowfighter's post:

Thanks everyone for the help so far. Thumbs Up

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.
If you can read this, thank a teacher. If you can read it in English, thank a veteran.

I'm almost positive it's the same thing.

I found it is easiest to run both at same time.Roughly place your module where you want it,save, then go into FMB,load that map and view.
If you need to move it,Alt+Tab out, then give it a few bumps in the direction you want, then reload map.

A by-the-road camp module. It looks sufficiently random such that placing several back to back would look ok thus making larger units camps be possible. The module doesn't include the trucks, the armor etc just objects from "Objects" menu. Also after placing the module in the mission I can delete the part on the left or right side of the road. Deletion would take about 10-20 seconds.Smile
