Just coming back to IL2 46 after a bit of time out.

Is there an easy way to create missions within maps I choose (ie want to use the new maps) and the single player missions only use the old maps and the quick mission planner only has a few maps in the dropdown

Look for Mission Mate, it is an easy tool to create missions with all the maps.

There is also Lowengrin's DCG and the Uber Quick Mission Generator, probably others as well.

jason_peters... There are programs such as Mission Mate & Uber Demon which are excellent.

But if you want to make your own missions... FMB is the way. It takes a little practice... but once you get the first basic steps everything else pretty much falls in place as far as learning how.

There are a lot of great people to help you out also on the "Mission Builder Forum" and tips on getting you started.

I've always found Uberdemon's quick mission builder to be very user friendly, on the downside it doesn't support some of the more recent maps. Fingers crossed.
