In October I posted a BIG JAAF 104-mission static campaign I had been working on during the most part of the year. It's called "RAGING EAGLES" and can be found here on M4T:

http://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads&file=details&id=3098

It is now in version 1.2, after I twice did some overhauls, corrected typos, fixed some too-difficult missions or a bit sloppily play-tested ones, etc.

And I know that I should do a real big overhaul, getting the campaign into version 2.0. What should be done is among other things fixing ALL typos, fixing mission where you land up flying the wrong aircraft (happens in the Nomonhan segment), etc. (What perhaps also should be done is adding an interlude movie between each segment, explaining and marking the jump from one Theatre of War to another - that would be nice, but really isn't necessary, cosmetics really.) And perhaps it should be split into two parts? I don't know, but I know taking on 104 missions is a bit overwhelming for some...

Anyway, it seems that I can't find time to do it! Perhaps it's just that I struggled with this one for soooo long that I feel some sort of resistance returning to this old stomping-ground. Sad And there are some small Finnish campaigns I rather want to do instead...

So I wonder: is there anyone out there who would be willing to become co-author with me, and do this 2.0 overhaul?

If so I am more than willing to split the credits 50/50 :-)

I know it sounds a bit pathetic Truce but I think that it IS a GOOD campaign on a very interesting subject, but it needs a little bit extra work to become GREAT.

All the best
/Peter

I can't help but I hope someone can as you put together good campaigns and I would hate to see you lose interest.

Well, I guess I'll have to bite the bullet on this one...

And I will, once I can gather enough energy to do it. Winky

Anyway, I will probably split the campaign in two, making it less unwieldy, both for users and... for myself.

I think the only thing you really need to fix in the short-term is the issue with ending up in the wrong aircraft. It's the only thing that would annoy me if I were playing it.

But, yeah 105 missions is a lot for someone to take on..... Googly

Yes, that is one of the REALLY annoying things, and I know how to eliminate it all together.

Anyway: I've decided to split the campaign into three parts, and that feels a little more manageable... Razz

If you could make the Ki-61/New Guinea section into it's own seperate campaign, I for one would be very happy.......
