Ditto. Looking forward to both projects from two master blders. I'm entering my 7th month of working on my Red Star/White Star 1947 cmpn, but am getting alot more done. Still, these things are monsters man. They take so much detail work. It's fun though.

Thanks for your encouraging words. It is nice to know that my work is appreciated. Life got busy in the last year (with really good things, I got married!) but I should just give the final push to this campaign. I think I was in need of a break from IL2 for a few months. I might just do a few missions per week and get it done.

I'm not that young, but I think I got a couple good years left in me before I get stuck riding a desk. I plan to get some helmet cam footage during my upcomng deployment. I will post a link to our cruise video when I get back.

I have to include the beta testers feedback in all the missions. The campaing is 16 missions long as it stands. I might remove a few, as some missions just are basically the same kind (patrol/defense over the fleet). The "repetitivity" of them as been one of the main comments. It is historical, but makes the campaign a little bit boring.

What would you rather have? A closer to history 16 missions or a (still historical) but more fun 12 mission campaign?

If it is less than 20 missions to begin with, I would say more historical.

If one chooses to fly a "Fleet Air Arm" Campaign, one should probably expect to patrol over the fleet. Even more than once.

Historical for me to please mate, the more missions the better. Even if they are boring (i am sure they wont be).

The interest shown in this project has triggered me back into mission building. It was good a took a break from IL2, as now I look at it with fresh eyes.

Sounds like the more the merrier, even if there is some repetition. I'll see how many missions the campaing ends up having.

I'm gearing up for the task of working on improving the missions based on the feedback received. Tonight I have a couple of hours to work on them, so probably 3 missions will be polished.

Very brief update:

8 Missions have been beta-debugged. All briefiengs have been cleaned up.

I still have to work on the other half of the campaign, the tracks, maybe update some skins and the very final check that everything looks right.

I'm not saying when, but it is closer to release that it was one week ago!

Sorry for the delay. Problems with my work forced me to concentrate into other things.

I probably need 8 hours (total) for the final release. I just being busy and lacking the final will to do it, do to my laboral problems lately.

Man do I know htat. My 47 project is almost done, but my work schedule is causing me alot problems with finishing it. I only just now got it to some testers. Sheesh.

Actually, yes.

I've finished all the beta testing and fixing details (amazing how much time little things take).

I want to add a short track (half way done) and I should be able to prepare the package and release it in the second half of May. I'll see if I can get the release before the long weekend of May 26th (for those in the US).

If not, I'll finish the package and release it just after Memorial Day Weekend.

The end is near!!!
