I have been playing IL2 for a couple of months now and I have started to look at the campaigns available from various sites. I downloaded the BoB (Extreme_One & Poymando) but had to adjust the directory path to C:/Program files/Ubisoft/IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 as it was intended for IL-2 FB, anyway the campaign works but the maps on the brief and in game show the gulf of Finland when they should show the South coast of the UK (Isle of White).
I am still getting to grips with this game and all the intracies of the mission builder etc so a bit of advise from the experts would be gratefully appreciated.

Unfortunately, the IL-2 series doesn't have a map for England, so anyone making a campaign based on the Battle of Britain will need to use a substitute map, like the Finland one or Cimrea. The reason for this is that Oleg Maddox, the designer of IL-2, wanted to save the Britain maps for his new sim, Storms of War.
