Hi,
I'm shortly to release Part 1 of a Defence of the Reich campaign. It is unmodded so as to maximise the potential audience. However, I built it using 4.091 modded. I was very careful to use only FMB objects I recognized, but due to the huge increase in objects and their seemingly random re-numbering I may have slipped up somewhere, so I really want to check that it runs on one single Unmodded installation.

PM me if you can help loading each mission, hitting apply, pausig only to stop what was happening. It should take only 20 minutes or so.

Would it be ok to test in 4.09m unmodded? I have that and I also have a separate Il-2 folder with the game modded with 4.08m and 4.09b, and with the switcher I can turn mods on and off. I'm flying your enjoyable Afrika campaign with a couple other guys on Sundays so I'd be glad to pitch in a little and help.

I was under the impression that anything only available in 4.09 would be in the .ru properties file.

Forgot I posted this! Sorry. Blindman - I make two copies of every briefing - one with .ru and one with no suffix. that way modded and unmodded users can play.
Ba$tardsword - actually I just worked that idea out for myself. I had been looking at the wrong 'switcher'. I tried them out and they seemed to work okay. I may still take you up on your offer though.

Well send me a PM if you would like any help beta testing the missions, I'd be honored. Smile

I also could maybe get the other two guys I play the Afrika campaign to try it out if you want to see if missions work well in co-op. Afrika has worked well so far in all missions with 3+ 109E's. (for the ones with only 1 109 we edited it so there were 3, we even managed to land two planes at that castle in the oasis though I messed up and crashed.) Blush

That co-op idea would be interesting to see if it worked, though I am duious about how well the net would hold up to that many planes. Please have a try, if you don't mid. Don't want to be blamed for bringing down the interweb. Al gore would kill me.
