I just noticed you have a Ju-52 in the video (sorry haven't flown the campaign yet, will do so tonight time permitting!), there are some good Italian Ju-52 skins out there.

Take your time playing the campaign. It's only 7 missions. I still need to make videos for the other 4 campaigns and that is going to be the most time-intensive thing, the missions are all pretty much ready to go though I need to do briefings.

I don't know a whit of Italian other than a few obvious phrases (though I'm learning from the Italian voice pack...) but it would be cool to come up with titles that are in the languages for each nation. Unfortunately I don't really know any Russian, Finnish or Japanese either so if anyone has any ideas that would be great.

I don't think I used any Ju-52's in the Italian mini-campaign (mainly I just wanted something slow that the AI I-16's could pulverize in the movie) but I'll take a look for some Italian skins.

Update: Russian campaign is now complete. UK campaign is basically ready but I need to QC a couple missions and write the briefings.

Next just need to make prologue/epilogue videos for the Japanese and Finnish campaigns and write briefings and then I'll be done. Whew. Not sure when it will happen, hopefully sooner rather than later.

Maybe you can call it "the hunt of the Sea Wolves", or "Dangerous Bounty", or maybe even "Mile High Bounty"

Hmm, "Dangerous Bounty" might be ok. Something to do with Sea Wolves could be ok too, maybe make the British pilots part of an anti-piracy squadron or something. Special skins would help though...

The Macchis are ready, check the paintscheme forum, I've also found an Italian IAR skin by another author that I like, maybe I can forward it to you.

Finally I can give the British ones a go eventually...

By the way I made an extra UK mission with the Corsair. If you made a Corsair skin I could make it all Corsair missions (though keeping the Buffalo missions), or if you made a Spitfire skin I could make it all Spitfire/Seafire missions, so that you only have to make one skin instead of two.

This is the current order of planes used in the UK missions:

Buffalo (2 missions)
Spitfire Vb LF (1 mission)
Seafire L (1 mission)
Corsair Mk. IV (1 mission)

I've been playing your Italian campaign and it's great fun, straight into the action seems to be your thing! Heh. The first mission is particularly intence. I find the key is to distract the enemy planes from your wingman as he takes off, then slowly wear them down assisted by the airfield's flak. The ace Lagg-3 got my wingman unfortunately but I got on his tail and peppered him. I find that the IAR is a match for both the Seafire and the Lagg.

So which plane would you prefer? I'd probably do the Corsair for variety and also because of its name. Any themes in mind?

Hey thanks! Yeah I like to get straight into the action. That first mission is definitely tough but if I work hard at shooting down the Spitfires, the LaGG is easy to deal with.

There's currently only one mission with the Corsair and two with the Spitfire. Like I said I guess I could axe out the Spitfire and put a Corsair in its missions. So if you want to do a Corsair skin that would be great.

I'm not sure about a theme...something naval-ish since the Corsair would be with the Royal Navy. I kinda like the green-blue skins the British Avenger and Corsair Mk. I have. You did a great job with the pirate skins so you'd probably have a better idea than me.



I did some more work on the campaigns and now have videos done for all the campaigns. Now I just have to make caption messages for the remaining videos and then make briefings for three of the campaigns, so I'm starting to near the finish line. I'd like to get it done this weekend but no promises!

Which mark Spitfire btw? VIII I presume?

Currently the missions have the Seafire L and Spitfire Vb LF.

I find that the same skin works on any Seafire and any Spitfire from the V's up to the VIII. But the Spitfire IX's for some reason use a different template.

Well worked a bunch on this today and it's basically done. Phew! Just need to iron out a few things here and there.

Well I am going to get this packaged together for uploading to M4T at least as a beta in the next couple of days. Everything is basically done and I'm fairly satisfied with the level of polish in the missions.

I think I will name this package of mini-campaigns "The Pirate Menace."
