Hello Folks,
I love this program. It's extremely useful to me, as I frequently fly with a variable number of friends and more often than not I find myself having to change aircraft number on the fly. I have to say this program is absolutely fantastic. Great work Shift_E!!! =) However, out of the blue I started having serious problems with it. I can no longer edit blue side aircraft. I can add them, duplicate them and so on, but I can't change their number, skill level or loadout. I have to do all those things manually as all the options in the software are greyed out. The strange thing is that I can do just that with the red aircraft. I have included two screenshots of the problem in one of the missions. The problem is wide spread in almost all of my missions. Could anyone provide some assistance. I love this program and I'd love to be able to continue using it. Thanks a bunch!!! =) ============================================== EDIT 01: Oh, I forgot to say. I am using AAA Mod for IL2. Could that have anything to do with the fact that I can no longer alter blue plane configuration through QMT? Another thing. When I click on a mission in the mission tree on the left I get an error message in that error.txt file in the installation folder. The message is: Invalid property value LoadPlanes ============================================== EDIT 02: I have found out through some experimentation that the impairing feature is actually the country/squadron thingy. The only squadrons that allow me to edit aircraft loadout, skill and aicraft number are USAAF, USN and USMC. Any other airforce other than these three ones will block me from editing the fore-mentioned features from inside the program. To sum up, if I put a FW190 to fly under Germany, I can't edit anything, but if I put it under USAAF I can change anything I want. This is so strange. =( |

QMT is running into an error loading information from the 6 data files and not able to complete it's setup for the mission. Could you send me one of the mission files you are having problems with and I'll see if I can correct the issue. Thank you, -Shift_E |

I would be honored to assist you in any way Shift_E. I am normally available in the evenings after 7 PM EST (for the next 2 weeks that is). Send me a PM with your TS info and a time you would like to meet. Also, the missions that henriquecsouza has shown in his screen-shot are missions that I made and have altered many times with the QMT, and I have never ran into the problems mentioned. Perhaps reinstalling QMT and the missions themselves would be an easy solution. |

Hello Mr Shift_E, Thank you very much for the quick reply. For the purpose of simplicity, I have taken the liberty of uploading the mission I've taken the screenshot from to rapidshare. If there's any problem with the downloading process please let me know and I can post it elsewhere. Again, thank you very much for the thoughtfullness of trying to help me with it. This is the link to rapidshare and the two mission files: http://rapidshare.com/files/26...ble_Mission.zip.html
Hello Mr Blindman, I also have to thank you for the kind intent in the response. I, however, have reinstalled QMT at least 4 times. I have tried version 2.0.2, 2.0.5 and ultimately 2.0.9. Before reinstalling the new version I've made sure there were no entries left in the windows registry, so I could really try and pinpoint the location of the culprit of this problem. The only consistent piece of information I've found was that USAAF, USN and USMC are the only air forces with which I can edit loadouts, fuel, aircraft number and those other options encountered to the right of the mission aircraft listing. One thing though, I CAN change the values in the drop down menus of any fore-mentioned uneditable aircraft, but the software simply does not give me the option of saving and as soon as I change something else so I get the green update button selectable, the altered value will be reset. The other options as we can see from the screenshot are simply totally greyed out. One weird work-around I have started doing was to change any other non-american aircraft to and american air force, editing it and then returning it to its originally-intended air force. It's clumsy, but it works. I have been using QMT for a long time and only recently this problem started happening. I can't say exactly what caused it because it had been two months that I didn't use it when it happened for the first time. I am using Windows XP Professional SP3. I'd be very glad if I could find a solution for my problem. =) Thanks again guys for the kind gestures, and I hope we can solve this. =) |

Hello henriquecsouza,
I download the zip file, but these were the only files in it: coop RT M Carrier vs Palau, mission 1, shipping.properties coop RT M Carrier vs Palau, mission 1, shipping_ru.properties There should be a .mis file. If it easier you can use qmtsupport (-at-) dwvac (-dot-) com. |

I love QMT and have used it for years...
I have no problem adding new maps or a/c or making those with new cockpits flyable....but I do have problems adding the new loadouts for mod a/c....such as the 90lbs rockets for the Beau 10 which are new armaments for the game....never know what to call them |

To add the Beau 10 to ShiftE's Quick Mission Tuner:
Put these lines into QMT_Weapons.txt:- 2x250lb.Bombs,2xfuse250,BEAU10 2x500lb.Bombs,2xfuse500 2x250lb.Bomb+2x250lb.Bombs,2x250f2x250w 2x500lb.Bomb+2x250lb.Bombs,2x500f2x250w 2x500lb.Bomb+2x500lb.Bombs,2x500f2x500w 8x60lb.Rockets,8x60rock 8x90lb.Rockets,8x90rock 2x250lb.Bomb+8x60lb.Rockets,2xfuse2508x60rock 2x500lb.Bomb+8x60lb.Rockets,2xfuse5008x60rock 2x250lb.Bomb+8x90lb.Rockets,2xfuse2508x90rock 1xType Mk13 Torpedo,1xtorp 1xType Mk13 Torpedo+2x250lb.Bomb,1xtorp2x250 1xType Mk13 Torpedo+8x60lb.Rockets,1xtorp8x60rock Empty (No Ammo),none Add this line to QMT_Aircraft.txt:- F,Beaufighter Mk10 (1943),BEAU10,BeaufighterMkX,,,3 Add this line to QMT_DF.txt:- F,Beaufighter Mk10 (1943),BeaufighterMkX This message has been edited.
