Dress up the BI-1 (void skin and J markings) to make a reasonable Ohka kamikaze bomb.
Hit a carrier with fueled and armed planes on deck, and you get results like this.
Pictures do not give the full feeling for the explosion.

Thanks korbelz.
Here's an interesting sequence I used a while back. "Hidden Tiger".
If you're a couple of shermans shooting up a town,
and you see a fuel truck next to a building,
maybe check to see what it's doing there before blowing it up !! Eek

Nice work fellas.

Hey Chuck, re: putting planes on taxiways - how do the AI react to that when they come in to land? They're pretty good at avoiding statics on the aprons but I've not tried blocking their taxiways yet.

Cheers, Spinner

This also works with the wirbelwind,

it kinda looks like a turret, and it shoots Wink
I use objekt nr.140 to cover up the body of the gun.

Losses mounted when Luftwaffe pilots figured that they could just casually fly right behind an Il-2 and shoot the **** out of it, and the Il-2 was finally re-engineered to have a rear gunner. Luftwaffe pilots would still fly casually behind them, until they realized that the Il-2s now had rear gunners and were subsequently getting the **** shot out of them.

Nice cover up with OBJ. 140!
Here are results from testing I did a while back on artillary & stationary armor,
used in conjunction with cement slabs 146 & 148.
I didn't use the vehicles much because they just didn't look right.
It never occurred to me to use another object to hide the body of the vehicles.
Good call.
Emplacements
After 4.0 is released I plan on checking all new units since this test.
Wow I just looked at it, v1.22, it's older than I thought.

I'm just finishing up testing for a new spreadsheet
on which artillery and armor units work when placed on objects.
I'll wait to add the new units in the patch/addon before linking to it.
One weird thing I found is that the cement slab
objects 140-1-2, are transparent to guns, i.e.
the unit can be completely inside the slab and
it still shoots. Really strange looking with some.
I sure wish the camo net worked like that, it should, but it don't.

You do need to be careful where you put the static planes on the taxi-way. I haven't seen a collision...yet. But I tried to avoid blocking the AI's path. Like in my screenshot, the end of the runway where the static planes are lined up is actually the end of the runway the planes land on, so I avoided the entire issue

A couple of views of offsite plane storage for a small airfield. I kinda wish we had a bigger selection of trees.

Too bad the trees explode and disappear if hit with any size bomb or rocket. You make these big dispresal areas, and one boom and they look like heck.

I put dispersal areas along the hard treelines, and add placed trees to try and demark the edge:

You can also place AI planes on the deck of a ship with great care...

Here's a gun emplacement with camo net over stores of ammo.

A wharf:
